1969 MGC GTS versus Porsche Carrera S

1969 MGC GTS and Porsche Carrera having a bit of fun. While driving a canyon road, I came up on a guy in a Carrera S. Once traffic cleared, he took off while in a residential area so I let him go. He slowed when I didn't follow. Once in a safer area we had a bit of fun. I think he was VERY surprised that he couldn't shake a 38-year-old M.G.!

1968 MGB Roadster Test Drive in Sonoma Wine Country
Visit http://www.leftcoastclassics.com/1968-mgb-roadster/ to see this 1968 MGB Roadster for sale from Left Coast Classics in Sonoma California. Solid 1968 MGB Roadster for sale, just one owner until a year ago. Owned from new by a couple in the Bay area until purchased by my client earlier this year. The original owner worked at an MG dealership. It was his wife's car and only used for local drives in their home town. The car starts; runs and drives beautifully with smooth shifting, tight suspension, excellent brakes and clean running quiet motor with plenty of oil pressure. Truly amazing to find such an original gem. Incredibly original and unaltered, right down to the emissions equipment on the engine. Lovingly cared for. The only modifications are period speakers installed in the rear bulkhead and an electric cooling fan added to the radiator. Drives with a tightness and originality that you don't find on restored cars. Has had one repaint of it's original primrose on a razor straight, absolute rust-free body. The wheels still bear the factory paint and car has a vintage Amco convertible top. Frame bag is included. Nice chrome, trim, glass and even the original leather in beautiful condition. Also includes both original issue black license plates. Take a look at all the details as well as full photo gallery at the link above and then give me a call with your best offer. Sebring 2012 MGA Twincam Vintage Race
This in-car video was taken during the 2012 Sebring Race, which honored the 50th anniversary of the Sebring MGAs. It was taken by Michael Zbarsky from our MGA Twincam, which might be the last Twincam to take a Green/Checkered flag at Sebring. When asked if he could have overtaken some of the other cars, Michael said.....'This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to follow #52, a Sebring MGA, and #60, a Sebring MGB GT......why screw with history!!" Enjoy the video and Twincam sounds.....

MGC GT -1970-cloud9cars -For Sale
http://www.cloud9cars.co.uk/ppage.asp?carId=255 The MGC was firmly based on the MGB and was intended as a replacement for the Austin-Healey 3000 which by the time the MGC was announced in 1967 it had had its day. It was powered by an in-line, six-cylinder, pushrod, OHV engine of 2912cc capacity that was capable of producing 150bhp. The bodyshell was essentially a basic MGB unit with a modified bonnet hump. This very rare MGC GT is presented in lovely Tartan Red with contrasting black leather piped in red a truly classic combination of a British sports car. With only having 6 former keepers of which the last owner of 15 years this C has been loved and cherished over its 42 years of age. There is not a great deal of documented history with the car, there are some past MOT's dating back to 1997 when she had covered 76783 miles. This C is in excellent order all round and ready to be enjoyed for years to come with nothing needing to be done other than enjoy at local shows or going out on those sunny afternoons.
