AUDI R8 V8 GTR TWIN SUPERCHARGED TUNED BY PACHURA MOTO CENTER
http://motocenter.pl/pl/Projekty/Sportowe/Audi-R8-V8-GTR We want to introduce to you the most unique Audi R8 in Poland. This is the very first piece of Audi R8 V8 GTR that left our site. As a base for modification we took an Audi R8 Coupe with 4.2 V8 FSI engine. The assumptions of this project were a little bit crazy: the car had to develop over 700 hp, plus have an extraordinary exterior design. Superchargers, cooling, and new intake and lubrication systems have been developed specifically for this car by TTS Performance. The sports Exhaust system uses an Abt Sportsline silencer that releases a powerful sound from this mighty engine. After many hours of tuning on a dynamometer an incredibly impressive performance was obtained: maximum power of 710 hp and torque over 600 Nm. This unique R8 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.1s, it sprints from 0 to 200 km/h in an impressive 9.2s. Audi R8 V8 GTR reaches a maximum speed of 328 km/h and it's limited by the gear ratios, not by the engine power. Transmission will be further extended in the future. Powertrain uses a Kevlar double disc clutch, produced specifically for this car. To improve the handling we used KW Variant 3 HLS 4 with adjustable height, compression and rebound. This KW kit also has an another feature that is very useful in a sports car: a hydraulic lift system on the front and rear axle, which allows to lift up the car up to 35 mm. The base Audi R8 was equipped with a conventional steel brake discs. They were replaced by the most efficient ceramic brakes on the front and rear axle. Audi R8 V8 GTR got a completely new look, and all the body parts we used are lighter than the factory ones. Abt Sportsline R8 GTR body kit includes elements made of carbon : • Front bumper • Rear bumper • Side sills • Enlarged side air vents • The impressive rear wing • Side mirrors (from Audi R8 LMS race car ) • Engine hood made of carbon fiber and polycarbonate glass with venting holes (from Audi R8 LMS race car) In order to get more weight reduction a front hood made of carbon fiber was used. Also, the CR Superlight alloy wheels from Abt Sportsline are lighter than the original Audi parts. Front wheels' size is 9 x 19 " with Michelin Pilot Sport CUP 235/35 R19 sport tires, rear wheels' size is 11 x19 " with 305/30 R19 tires . Thanks to lightweight materials we reduced the weight of the car by 60 kg, which significantly affected its drivability. DEFI Advance BF gauges were mounted, for pressure Boost, oil pressure, and Exhaust gas temperature. Some other nice details inside the car are: velour floor mats with Abt Sportsline logo and improved car audio system with Alpine IVA D800R multimedia station.
