Kevin Rapozo's State Record Setting 1320 Run - Maui 11-17-07
Short Vid of Kevin Rapozo, from Kauai, running his Top Alcohol Dragster in
the Top Gun Shoot-Out event at Maui RaceWay Park on Saturday, Nov. 17,
2007. After red lighting during the shoot out, with a still impressive 6.14
@ 233 MPH, he was able to run a single time trial run shortly afterward.
The end result was a Maui state record run of 5.88 @ 237.96 MPH! Rumor has
it that he was so excited at the end of the run that he missed the
parachute deploy button on the first attempt! After finally deploying, &
standing on the brakes, he ended up in the sand at the end of the track!
Congratulations again to Kevin, & all his crew, family, & friends that made
that run possible!
