The Valley Speed FED: fired for the first time
Tim Conder fires the Valley Speed Front Engine Dragster (FED) for the very
first time at the shop in Sonoma, CA with help from Pete Jensen, Chris
Bochoko, Rex Hutchison and friends. AUTOCULTURE was there to record the
event ten years in the making!
One of the greatest Top Fuel Dragsters of all time. Owned by Roland Leong,
tuned by Keith Black and driven by Don "The Snake" Prudomme. The car was
later driven by the late Mike Snively. It won Indy twice!
Starting up 392 Hemi, part 1

Kevin Rapozo's State Record Setting 1320 Run - Maui 11-17-07
Short Vid of Kevin Rapozo, from Kauai, running his Top Alcohol Dragster in
the Top Gun Shoot-Out event at Maui RaceWay Park on Saturday, Nov. 17,
2007. After red lighting during the shoot out, with a still impressive 6.14
@ 233 MPH, he was able to run a single time trial run shortly afterward.
The end result was a Maui state record run of 5.88 @ 237.96 MPH! Rumor has
it that he was so excited at the end of the run that he missed the
parachute deploy button on the first attempt! After finally deploying, &
standing on the brakes, he ended up in the sand at the end of the track!
Congratulations again to Kevin, & all his crew, family, & friends that made
that run possible!
Front Engine Dragster - Old Flames Racing
This shot was taken at the world famous Paris Drag Strip. There's nothing
like the smell of a burnout and having to shower the rubber dust out of
your hair. Drag racing in a front engine dragster is very unique. You
can't see directly in front because the engine is in the way. You can
reach out and touch the rear slicks which are about 4 inches from your
shoulder. The rear differential is right between your legs. My favorite
part is the burnout.
