2004 Saturn Ion Coupe: The Best Car Ever Made
I'm selling my Saturn. Want it?
Throw me your best offer!
FAQ: I'm in Dallas, TX. Let's do it!
The car just had an oil change, engine flush, fresh brake fluid, and an
inspection. It should be good to go for awhile!
Ion Redline vs. Cobalt SS round 2
Me and a buddy racing on the way down to the track. He has intake, I have
intake and cat-back...and a passenger. I shifted slow and a little early
into 5th and he missed 5th once. After he got a car back he let off but we
just felt like going a little faster. My passenger was on the phone so he
was narrating for the person on the phone.

Important: Frontal crash test ratings can be compared only among vehicles
of similar weight.
The Saturn ION was introduced in the 2003 model year as a replacement for
the SL. The size of the steering wheel was increased beginning with 2005
models and its number of spokes was increased from two to four. Also, the
driver airbag deployment characteristics were changed slightly.
Restraints/dummy kinematics — Dummy movement was reasonably well
controlled. During rebound, the dummy's head hit the B-pillar. Also during
the impact, the steering wheel broke off from the column.
Injury measures — Measures taken from the neck and chest indicate low
risk of injuries to these body regions in a crash of this severity. High
head accelerations occurred when the dummy's head hit both the steering
wheel through the airbag and the B-pillar, indicating that injuries to the
head would be possible. Forces on the right tibia indicate that injuries to
the lower leg would be possible.
Honda Hater's Ion Redline Burning Rubber for 2 Blocks 1st Time
Have to give my car back to the bank unfortunately. So I decided how long
I could do a burn out down the couple blocks by my house. I was roasting
them all thru 2nd gear and had to stop for a stop sign. I'm sure I could
have kept going thru at least some of 3rd. :-) That's what 300hp in a
front wheel drive car gets ya :-D
