Jeep Liberty pulls out a stuck Range Rover on the beach
A 2002 Jeep Liberty pulls out a beached Range Rover. Always air down! Before we hooked up the strap, we tried moving sand away from the vehicle to allow it to move under its own power. That was not successful. A snatch strap was used, not a regular tow strap. Maybe just a little too much power, but if you went slower you risked the chance of getting the recovery vehicle stuck. The Rover must have lost momentum in the deep soft sand. We found him spinning his tires and digging himself out with a lacrosse stick. He didn't have any recovery tools or any required items for the beach, ie: shovel, jack board, air compressor. He was a nice guy though. I'm glad we were nearby and able to help him out.
