Hooniverse.com's Jeff Glucker travels to Northern California to meet up with the latest version of a popular Pleiades-badge wearing, all-wheel-drive, rally rocket. It's the 2015 Subaru WRX STI, and it's time to meet it and put it through its paces. This doesn't just mean some time on the street, however, as the day also includes some hot laps at Laguna Seca.





Subaru AWD vs. Everyone Else
This video was a recap for Subaru Sales Associates and affiliates that participated in a driving event pitting Subaru against its core competition. These tests were repeated thousands of times, with the the Sales Associates experiencing each event for themselves. This was NOT meant for public consumption and is therefore not a propaganda video. This video was a review for those people who experienced this driving event themselves. All vehicles were stock, had stability and traction control enabled if equipped, and were operated using the manufacturer's recommended tire pressures. While this video depicts individual instances,these tests were performed thousands of timeswith thousands of participants over a period of two months. The intended audience of this video experienced first hand the documented results.

Euro NCAP | Subaru Impreza | 2009 | Crash test
http://www.euroncap.com/results/subaru/impreza/2009/349.aspx Frontal Impact takes place at 64 Km/h, 40% of the width of the car striking a deformable barrier. In the side impact, a mobile deformable barrier impacts the driver's door at 50 km/h. In the pole test, the car tested is propelled sideways at 29km/h into a rigid pole.

2015 Subaru WRX First Drive and Review
Ryan drives the brand-new for 2015 Subaru WRX. Can this new model live up to its heritage? The new WRX is powered by a new 2.0-L flat-four with a twin-scroll turbo making 268hp and 258 lb-ft peak powering all four wheels thanks to Subaru's Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system (50:50 in the 6MT, 45:55 variable in the CVT.) Pricing was not announced at the time of the review, but we expect it will be close to the outgoing models.
