Civic NUMPODE na arrancada do Autódromo de Jacarepaguá (402mts)
Olá. Estivemos no Rio de Janeiro, no Autódromo de Jacarepaguá levando o NUMPODE para um pouco de ação.
Após a estréia do carro no Velopark com os excelentes tempos de 7.4 seg nos 201mts e 11.4 seg nos 402mts, sentimos saudade da diversão de acelerar na pista e a opção mais próxima foi o RJ. Aproveitamos para agradecer a presença de todos que foram ao evento e agradecer a receptividade calorosa que nos foi dada pelos cariocas, realmente fomos muito bem recebidos.
Já havíamos levado um Civic Si para acelerar nessa pista e sabíamos da dificuldade de tração enfrentada por todos lá, principalmente por carros com muita potência e tração dianteira. Para comprovar esse fato podemos citar que nosso tempo de 60 pés na estréia do carro no Velopark foi de 1.814seg enquanto no Autódromo de Jacarepaguá foi de 2.550seg. Nos 201 mts a coisa fica ainda mais feia, foram 7.4seg no Velopark contra 8.6seg no RJ. O tempo dos 402mts no entanto foi melhor do que esperávamos, até porque pode se reparar no vídeo que o carro apresentou problemas de falha elétrica depois dos 8.700 rpm (já resolvido) deixando a faixa de maior potência do motor prejudicada. Para que o carro largasse destracionando o mínimo possível a marcha usada foi a segunda, que no caso desse cambio empurra o carro a 142km/h e mesmo assim não era possivel sair forte porque a tendencia era destracionar muito.
Bem, outras oportunidades virão, o NUMPODE certamente voltará a essa pista para um pouco mais de ação e quem sabe beirar os 11 segundos.

Here is Mike P's Super Street turbo Honda civic @ the CSCS Finale Round 5 Sept 23, 2012. As he makes his debut at his first event in years Mike P a.k.a the A&E champ easily takes home the win in the super street 10.00 index class.
Track conditions were poor this day but he was still able to get a new PB out of the car.
