2013 Ford Explorer Sport 0-60 MPH Mile High Drive and Review
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The new 2013 Ford Explorer Sport is a family hauler, but it's also the fastest Explorer that you can buy. Under the hood of this Crossover rocket is Ford's 3.5L V6 EcoBoost twin turbo engine that comes straight out of the Ford Taurus SHO. In other words, think of the 2013 Ford Explorer Sport as an all-wheel-drive Ford Taurus SHO that can seat up to 7 people. In this TFLcar drive and review we find out just how fast the Ford Explorer Sport with go from 0-60 MPH @ a mile above sea level.
2013 Infiniti JX35 Colorado Drive & Review
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The 2013 Infiniti JX35 is new luxury crossover people-hauling machine that takes dead aim at Acura's MDX and Audi's Q7 vehicles. In this Colorado review Nathan takes a closer look at the brand new Infiniti JX35 by driving it to Red, Rocks Colorado. So has Infiniti built a luxury vehicle that can compete with the best selling Acura and the largest Audi? Check out this review as Nathan put the new 2013 JX35 to the TFLcar test.
2013 Chevy Equinox v Ford Explorer v Jeep Grand Cherokee Off-Road Mashup AWD Tech Review
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The brand new 2013 Chevrolet Equinox and the Ford Explorer and the Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit Overland don't have a lot in common. However all three of these vehicle have a very different approach to powering all four wheels, in other words, they all have one form or another of all-wheel-drive and terrain management technology. We thought it would be interesting, informative and fun to try these three very different AWD vehicles off-road in a real world test to see which one can best handle our Colorado Mountain off-road terrain. In this battle of 4X4 people haulers we take all three vehicles up our standard rugged Colorado trail to see which one can make it all the way to the top. Check out another fun and real world TFLcar Mashup test as we get wet, muddy and rocky in this off-road AWD technology comparison and review.
2013 Nissan Pathfinder vs Dodge Durango 0-60 MPH Mile High Mashup Review
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The brand new 2013 Nissan Pathfinder is now a new school 7 passenger family hauling Crossover. With a CVT and front-wheel-drive the base Nissan Pathfinder is engineered to sip fuel instead of finding paths in the great untamed wilderness. On the other hand the 2013 Dodge Durango is much more of an old school Crossover. In base trim the Durango has a rear-wheel-drive set-up mated to a 5-speed automatic powered by a somewhat larger V6. Of course can be had with a all-wheel-drive but in this mashup we wanted to see which of these two vehicles is the better family hauling truckster. Check out another fun, informative and exclusive TFLcar mashup as we put both of these Crossovers to the 0-60 MPH test @ a mile above sea level.
2013 BMW X5 0-60 MPH Mile High Drive & Review
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The new 2013 BMW X5 Xdrive 35i is a very sporty German Crossover that had the body of a family hauler but the soul of a sports car. The question that we strive to answer in this TFLcar drive and review is does the 2013 BMW X5's heart, in other words it's engine, match to the family hauler or to the sports car. To find out we test the BMW X5 with the M sport and performance packages from 0-60 @ 1 mile above sea level and we also drive the car in the Colorado Mountains in another fun and informative TFLcar Review.

One features that's notable is the airbag that's right next to the center console which is a first for cars. Build and material quality is also up for 2013, with nice soft touch materials and stitching, The Acadia is now more muscular aslo in the front and rear. All in all great car from GMC.

2013 Ford Explorer Sport EcoBoost Walkaround & SUV Video Review with Chief Engineer Bill Gubing
http://www.autobytel.com/ford/explorer/2013/ Autobytel recently caught up with the Explorer's Chief Engineer Bill Gubing for some in-depth info on both the appearance aspects and the performance aspects of the 2013 Ford Explorer Sport SUV.
Up front one of the most notable appearance features is the new front grille. Here we see the contrasting high gloss bars with the low gloss mesh behind that really sets off the front of this vehicle. Ford took the muscular look of the 2011 model and wanted to make the new 2013 model stand out even more. Besides the front grille, Ford created a technical wrap by blacking out the grille, headlights, and also the lower bumper openings. The Explorer name was added to the front of the vehicle for the first time. From the side the large 20-inch wheels with black painted pockets are the first thing you notice. The blacked-out theme continues along the Explorer with blacked-out mirror caps, side skirts, and roof rails. Out back it's more of the same. The taillights have the smoked treatment with the rear diffuser darkened too. The rear eye-catcher though is the dual polished Exhaust tips.
Moving to the interior of the 2013 Ford Explorer Sport the first thing you notice is the illuminated kick plate. The interior is all about craftsmanship with many upgrades being added to the Sport trim level. The seats have a sienna color insert with contrast stitching. The Explorer design team looked at European Fashion houses and looked at what was coming out in the Leather world to gain some insights into the future of automobile interior surfaces. The trim pieces have a high metallic look that blend nicely with the blacked-out exterior direction. Sony branded audio is standard with HD radio. The Explorer also features the 8-inch touch screen with MyFord Touch.
Most SUV buyers can be categorized as those either looking for fuel economy or those looking for power. Ford met the needs of both groups with the different EcoBoost engine options. The 2.0 liter EcoBoost is perfect for the fuel economy minded customer and the 3.5 liter EcoBoost V-6 for those looking for more power. In fact the 3.5 liter turbocharged EcoBoost makes 365 horsepower. There is a ton of power that needed to be effectively put down to the road. This is where the AWD system was completely retuned optimizing for the torque sensing system making sure the power would be put to the pavement. The wheels were widened to 9-inches and wrapped in a performance tire. In regards to vehicle dynamics; the body structure was stiffened via a tower to tower brace and a cross tunnel brace. Overall lateral stiffness was increased by 37%.
