2013 Mazda CX-5 SkyActiv Off-Road Review & Drive
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The 2013 Mazda CX-5 SkyActiv is all new from the
ground up. It is the first car that features Mazda's new SkyActive approach
to building lighter, more fuel efficient, and more responsive cars. It
heralds a new style which in the industry is called a new design language.
Unlike the former Mazda Tribute which shared a platform with the Ford
Escape and had what many people thought was a Mazda's smiley face, the new

2013 Chevy Equinox v Ford Explorer v Jeep Grand Cherokee Off-Road Mashup AWD Tech Review
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The brand new 2013 Chevrolet Equinox and the Ford
Explorer and the Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit Overland don't have a lot in
common. However all three of these vehicle have a very different approach
to powering all four wheels, in other words, they all have one form or
another of all-wheel-drive and terrain management technology. We thought it
would be interesting, informative and fun to try these three very different
AWD vehicles off-road in a real world test to see which one can best handle
our Colorado Mountain off-road terrain. In this battle of 4X4 people
haulers we take all three vehicles up our standard rugged Colorado trail to
see which one can make it all the way to the top. Check out another fun and
real world TFLcar Mashup test as we get wet, muddy and rocky in this
off-road AWD technology comparison and review.

take luxury cars, Crossovers and SUV's and get them good and muddy. Why?
To see which of these cars does well at taking on the off-road trails of
the Colorado Rocky Mountains. From the Porsche Cayenne GTS to the Grand
Suzuki Vitara to the KIA Sorento and even the massive Infiniti QX56 and
the luxuries Mercedes-Benz GL350 and Lexus GX460...we get them all muddy
and dirty to see how well they perform and drive in this most messy of
TFLcar video reviews.
2013 Nissan Pathfinder vs Dodge Durango 0-60 MPH Mile High Mashup Review
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The brand new 2013 Nissan Pathfinder is now a new
school 7 passenger family hauling Crossover. With a CVT and
front-wheel-drive the base Nissan Pathfinder is engineered to sip fuel
instead of finding paths in the great untamed wilderness. On the other hand
the 2013 Dodge Durango is much more of an old school Crossover. In base
trim the Durango has a rear-wheel-drive set-up mated to a 5-speed automatic
powered by a somewhat larger V6. Of course can be had with a
all-wheel-drive but in this mashup we wanted to see which of these two
vehicles is the better family hauling truckster. Check out another fun,
informative and exclusive TFLcar mashup as we put both of these Crossovers
to the 0-60 MPH test @ a mile above sea level.
2013 Ford Focus ST 0-60 MPH Drive & Review
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The 2013 Ford Focus ST is one of the best
American hot hatches on the market today. Unlike many economy cars that are
Boosted, turbo-charged and lowered to look fast...the 2013
Focus ST is genuinely fast and trackable. In other words it is a
comfortable on the track, as it is not the road. That's because Ford has
done their homework and tuned and turned the 2013 Focus ST into a proper
sports car. In another fun and informative TFLcar drive and review, Nathan
takes the fastest focus from 0-60 to find out just how fast it really is at
a mile above sea level.

2013 Ford Explorer Sport Review, Walkaround, Exhaust, Test Drive
More than just a "sport" badge, Ford's new Explorer with the 3.5 EcoBoost delivers some driving enjoyment from
behind the wheel with not much fuel penalty from the base 3.5 V6. Our only
complaints are a tight 3rd row and a hefty price tag, making it one of the
most expensive in the class. If you can swing the cost, you will feel as if
you are driving the most premium feeling family crossover in the segment.
2013 Ford Explorer Sport EcoBoost 4x4 Test Drive & Crossover SUV Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/ford/explorer/2013/sport-4x4/ The Ford Explorer
started the SUV movement back in 1991 with a simple two box body on frame
design that brought utility to a whole new level. However things have
changed for the familiar Blue Oval badged hauler, and now the Explorer is
much more forgiving crossover than the SUV it once was thanks to 21st
century unibody construction, since it essentially rides on a car chassis.
However this hasn't stopped Ford from stiffening up the chassis,
shoehorning their big 3.5 Liter twin turbocharged EcoBoost V6 under the hood and sending power to
all four wheels to create the 2013 Ford Explorer Sport, which just so
happens to be the most expensive Explorer that money can buy, with a base
price of over $40k
With the 2013 Ford Explorer Sport 4x4, the company has gone all out. On the
outside the first thing you notice is the technical wrap meaning Ford
basically blacked everything out. The high gloss grille is combined with
low gloss mesh which sweep into the cool cut headlamps. The lower bumper
has a blacked out look with integrated fog lights. The Explorer Sport has
20-inch wheels wrapped in sticky rubber which are a half-inch wider than
the standard Explorer tires. On the side the sills, cargo bars, and side
mirrors are all blacked out. Everything looks great together and you know
the Explorer Sport means business.
The great looks are not where the 2013 Ford Explorer Sport ends; one look
under the hood reveals some serious power. The engine is a powerful and fun
3.5 liter V-6 EcoBoost motor. Output
is a hefty 365 horsepower and 350 lb-ft. of
torque. The 6-speed automatic transmission has paddle shifters too. Fuel
Economy checks in at 17 MPG in the city and 23 MPG on the highway.
The Ford Explorer Sport is actually a sporty vehicle on the road. The EcoBoost engine puts out more horsepower than the Porsche
Cayenne V-6. The Crossover SUV handles well and corners very flat thanks to
the extra engine brace, AWD system, and sticky wide tires.

2013 Ford Explorer Sport EcoBoost Walkaround & SUV Video Review with Chief Engineer Bill Gubing
http://www.autobytel.com/ford/explorer/2013/ Autobytel recently caught up
with the Explorer's Chief Engineer Bill Gubing for some in-depth info on
both the appearance aspects and the performance aspects of the 2013 Ford
Explorer Sport SUV.
Up front one of the most notable appearance features is the new front
grille. Here we see the contrasting high gloss bars with the low gloss mesh
behind that really sets off the front of this vehicle. Ford took the
muscular look of the 2011 model and wanted to make the new 2013 model stand
out even more. Besides the front grille, Ford created a technical wrap by
blacking out the grille, headlights, and also the lower bumper openings.
The Explorer name was added to the front of the vehicle for the first time.
From the side the large 20-inch wheels with black painted pockets are the
first thing you notice. The blacked-out theme continues along the Explorer
with blacked-out mirror caps, side skirts, and roof rails. Out back it's
more of the same. The taillights have the smoked treatment with the rear
diffuser darkened too. The rear eye-catcher though is the dual polished Exhaust tips.
Moving to the interior of the 2013 Ford Explorer Sport the first thing you
notice is the illuminated kick plate. The interior is all about
craftsmanship with many upgrades being added to the Sport trim level. The
seats have a sienna color insert with contrast stitching. The Explorer
design team looked at European Fashion houses and looked at what was coming
out in the Leather world to gain some insights into the future of
automobile interior surfaces. The trim pieces have a high metallic look
that blend nicely with the blacked-out exterior direction. Sony branded
audio is standard with HD radio. The Explorer also features the 8-inch
touch screen with MyFord Touch.
Most SUV buyers can be categorized as those either looking for fuel economy
or those looking for power. Ford met the needs of both groups with the
different EcoBoost engine options.
The 2.0 liter EcoBoost is perfect
for the fuel economy minded customer and the 3.5 liter EcoBoost V-6 for those looking for more power. In
fact the 3.5 liter turbocharged EcoBoost makes 365 horsepower. There is a ton
of power that needed to be effectively put down to the road. This is where
the AWD system was completely retuned optimizing for the torque sensing
system making sure the power would be put to the pavement. The wheels were
widened to 9-inches and wrapped in a performance tire. In regards to
vehicle dynamics; the body structure was stiffened via a tower to tower
brace and a cross tunnel brace. Overall lateral stiffness was increased by
