One Lap - Josh Hayes and the Yamaha R1 at Road America
2-time AMA Superbike Champion Josh Hayes on his Monster Graves Yamaha
YZF-R1 Superbike taking a lap at AMA Pro Roadrace Round 5, held at Road
America on June 3rd 2012. Hayes had a perfect weekend at Road America
taking the pole, winning both races, and setting a new track record of
2:11.216 around the 4.048 mile road course.

Aaron Yates joins Evan Steel Performance and throws a leg over the BMW
S1000RR for the last few rounds of the 2012 GEICO Motorcycle AMA Pro Road
Racing season. The team found success with very little test time on the
bike and the two new tracks they raced, Miami-Homestead Speedway and NOLA
1990 AMA Superbike & Supersport - Mid-Ohio
Coverage of the two races on The American Sports Cavalcade. Some classic
early Screamin' Chief action to be found here. :^) Also the late Larry
Schwarzbach at the place he unfortunately lost his life two years later.
Formula One at Road America
Here is an onboard video from the 2012 KIC at Road America. The car is a
1997 Jordan with with a Judd engine instead of the Peugeot that it used in
the actual Grand Prix. This was our first weekend with with the car and
were astounded with the performance. There were a few bugs as expected but
we got everything worked out. In front of me is my dad running a Benetton
F1 from the same year, with the same engine. Keep in mind this is not a
professional event, nor am I a professional driver. The only goal was to
have fun and keep the car in once piece. Enjoy!
