PAC PERFORMANCE 20B MX-6 ON FIRE
It goes to show just how awesome it is racing here in Australia when rival teams jump to assist each other in bad situations. This fire could have been tragedy for the Pac Performance team and possible injury for George, but thanks to the quick thinking Po Tung grabbing the extinguisher no major damage occurred and they were able to repair the car and race later on that day. Onya Po! Any chance you'll be standing on the line when I run my car?
20B BMW CRASH
Moey was on a hot pass and whilst everything looked good... It all went pear shaped in the deep end with the car spearing into the wall after crossing the finish line
SUPERCHARGED LS1 SILVIA BLOWS ENGINE
Whilst we don't know exactly what happened to this awesome 6/71 blown LS1 S14 Silvia at Summernats, we hope it was only a fluid fire... Yet, it didn't sound too healthy before it went boom

Powerskids were started by Gup in his Powercruise events and have fast become one of the most popular events for both spectators and entrants. It's certainly one of the more spectacular driving events to watch.
It is also the ultimate display of horsepower. Anyone can rattle off numbers, however powerskids require cars to have big horsepower and to be setup right.

Mainly 6cyl action here including many VL turbos - GM0747, IGNITE and SHERIF. Ryan Blank's SR20 9-second Silvia on radials, Adam Cerillo's 8-second GTS Skyline, Steve Petrovski becomes the first 6-second LS1 in Australia and Mark Jacobson's GTR crashes late in the day.

NISSAN RB30 TURBO HOLDEN GEMINI - WHEEL STAND
Moey pulling off an awesome wheel stand coming towards the end of the night at the 2011 Sydney Jamboree.
Also in the other lane was Nathan Farrugia in his awesome FD 20B RX7. Although appearing to not cross the centre line it was enough to give both competitors a decent shake up. Moey especially after hitting the wall on a fast pass in his 7-second BMW after pulling the chute!

WORLDS FASTEST AWD / 4G63 DATSUN / 20B RX7 IN TESTING
Willowbank Raceway held the 1st of the 2012 Top Sportman Series on the weekend. Reece McGregor and the Heat Treatments Skyline thought it would be a good chance to have some test runs in their worlds fastest RB26 powered 4wd skyline. The team worked hard all day and were rewarded with a final pass or 7.64, not far off their 7.56 record, although something tells me theres plenty more to come from this car again.
Another car using the test lane was Rob Novak in his Jett Racing 4G63 powered Datsun 1200. The team made adjustments through the day and saw a PB 7.35 @ 187mph on the second last pass of the night, the final wild pass on video then saw a transmission failure but a happy team none the less.
Final team testing was the Direct Clutch/Promodz Rx7, the car is 3/4 chassis and a running 3rotor 20BT tweaked by Mazfix. The team recently made adjustments in the rear and also in transmission and are starting to see results, it ran a 7.99 @ 171mph through the day, then later in the night suffered a leaking Boost pipe. Owners Jerry and Dan tell me they havent even started to push the motor yet, so another car with plenty more to come, and im sure that pb 7.80 will soon be slashed.
These cars should all be running at the up and coming Sydney Jamboree at WSID and by the looks of things have some unfinished business they want to take care of :)
