DYNO DAY! Lexus IS-F on 100 Shot Nitrous (N.O.S.)
got the N.O.S. installed a few days ago - see the install pics here: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/133729-Nitrous-installed-in-the- We started out without NOS, just the Exhaust and Intake were a factor. The number was around 353rwhp Next we did a 75 shot of N.O.S. and did about 401rwhp. I figured that wasn't worth looking at so we skipped (in the video) to run #3 which was with a 100 shot of N.O.S. and got it up to around 430rwhp. Since i have an 8 speed tranny, and we were pulling in 6th gear, i asked if we could do a run at full throttle all the way through all 8......next video, you will see how fast we went. I was surprised! How to Roll a Fender - Lexus ISF (Making room for wider tires)
**JUST SAY NO to the "baseball bat" trick!** This is the easiest, most accurate, proper way to get the job done. This is a 2011 Lexus ISF. My new, wider Pirelli tires came in a few weeks ago but i knew before i put them on, i would have to roll the fenders. In this video, you see exactly how to do it. I bought my roller off of Amazon.com but it can also be found at http://www.eastwood.com. The new tires are 235/30/20 (front, 9" wheels) and 285/25/20 (rear, 10" wheels). The wheels themselves are custom, 1-off 3 piece wheels made by AZA ( http://www.azaforged.com ). As it stands, even with the fenders rolled, the 285's in the rear barely clear and i could not use a spacer. I tried, it doesnt work, so dont bother asking. Don't forget to check out my website! SOUND SYSTEM BASS makes Scrambled Eggs - 4 18's 30,000 watts
***Tremendous BASS 119*** More port destruction! This time i wanted to see if i could scramble some eggs, but i didnt want it all over my box, batteries and paint. So i went to the store and purchased some "ziploc" containers. I wasnt sure if i could trust them so i did a test run with packing peanuts first, just to see what would happen. After that, i determined that i would have to tape them shut. I tried both cracked and uncracked and both had the same result. Quick Liquification. Well ever since I did the video on the 2011 IS-F I have been on a search for the famous ultrasonic blue mica that had been featured in all the original press releases for the IS-F upon it's release. Plus I wanted a more smooth orchestrated video that taught viewers a little more about the history behind the car, my search is over and I hope everyone enjoys! In this video I give a full in depth tour of the 2008 Lexus IS-F. This car is also part of the vast hendrick performance collection. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this car while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. SCS - Lexus LFA (Top Gear car)
BEST VIEWED IN HD - MORE INFO BELOW When Lexus showcased their LFA in Sweden earlier this fall I met up with it at Lexus Gothenburg to check it out. This particular car is the one Richard Hammond and the Stig drove in the Top Gear episode featuring the LFA. The guys at Lexus Gothenburg were kind enough to let me start the car up and rev it a bit to get a feel of the incredibly fast reving V10 engine that is the heart of the car. Unfortunately this is possibly the only time in the forseeable future an LFA will set foot in Sweden as none the 500 cars in production were allocated here.
