Dyno-testing our 1,000+ HP 427ci Small Block Ford supercharged with a Paxton Novi 2500
We team up with Dart Machinery and Vortech Superchargers to bring you the second segment of our blow-through carbureted 351 Windsor-based 427ci small block Ford.
We've finished the engine build, and now it's time to put our 427 Small Block Ford on the Dyno. The project's name is Bitting the Bullet, and it's a '65 Mustang that's being built for the 9-second zone with this Dart engine, a Paxton Novi 2500, and a Snow Water/meth system.

65 Mustang Fastback Restoration Project
This is my 1965 Mustang Fastback I rescued from a field rusting away. I finished it around July of 2008 in my back yard garage with no professional assistance at all. It took me about 26 months to complete. It has a 302 Ford motor and an 5 Speed manual transmission. I restored this car to the information on the original data plate on the door that included the body color and interior. The stripe is unique in that I added a darker red to the Poppy Red body color to get a stripe that is a little darker but blends in with the factory color. This car features four wheel disc brakes made from all Ford parts.

supercharged stroked 351 windsor 752 hp mustang Dyno
My new engine on the Dyno pushed 751.2 horsepower and 656.4 ft lbs of torque going in my 85 fox body Mustang with Nitrous. Has novi 2000 with moderate 10 lbs Boost. Will be doing around 1000 HP once installed with a small shot of Nitrous and meth injection. Dart block and all forged eagle inards. Best of the best!!
527 cubic inch 427 Ford SOHC on the dyno - 870 Horsepower!
427 SOHC Ford FE on the Dyno. Made 870 horsepower at 7000 RPM and 722 TQ! Absolute top line components throughout - as nice as a Cammer gets.
That's 1.65 HP per cubic inch and 1.37 TQ per cube from a vintage style package.
Billet 4.375 stroke steel crankshaft. Billet 6.700 Oliver rods. Iron 4.375 bore Genesis block. Highly modified Coon Cammer heads with raised ports that flow 456 cfm. Highly modified Dove single plane intake with sideways mounted Quick Fuel 850 carbs. Billet .705 lift cams. Prototype T&D roocker system. Compression is 11.5:1 with custom Diamond pistons, skirt coating and an .043-.043-3.0mm ring package. Crank trigger ignition with custom "T" handle MSD wires. Billet rail Moroso mid-sump oil pan. Meziere water pump.
