Aceleración de mi Prelude hasta unos 180 km/h en un día con bastante lluvia en el momento de hacer el video y durante casi todo ese día. Debido a esto el coche patina considerablemente en la salida y se pierde algo de tiempo en aceleración en 1ª marcha. Dos personas a bordo del coche y depósito de combustible casi vacio. La prueba está realizada en carretera totalmente llana. Mediciones en este video: 0-100 km/h en 7,1 s 0-140 km/h en 13,5 s 0-160 km/h en 18,8 s

Honda Prelude 2.2 VTi VTEC (H22A8) / Aceleración 0-200+ Km/h (bad camera sound)
Aceleración hasta unos 210 Km/h saliendo desde parado. El cambio de 4ª a 5ª es lento porque en principio no tenia pensado meter 5ª (iba a ser unicamente un 0-190 apurando la 4ª hasta el corte) y por esa razon pierdo bastantee tiempo en realizar el cambio a 5ª. El sonido es algo pobre debido a que , sin darme cuenta, tape la entrada de sonido de la camara parcialmente, asi que no suena como deberia. El coche esta completamente de serie, sin ninguna modificacion. Temperatura exterior de unos 15 grados centigrados durante la prueba, y en esta ocasion, a diferencia de otro video parecido que tengo en el que realizo la prueba sobre mojado, esta vez el asfalto estaba completamente seco e iba sin acompañante, lo que hace que las mediciones de aceleracion mejoren sensiblemente. Prueba realizada en carretera llana, sin desniveles apreciables. ........................................................................... .................................. poor camera sound because inadvertently I covered partially the sound input from the camera and for this reason the sound is not good .. Here is a newer walkaround of my 2000 Prelude. Getting some different shots at dusk. The car has HID projector headlights with angel eyes. Also has HIDs in the fog lights. 2.5 in Exhaust from the header all the back. The header is a hytech replica. Tinted out the bumper lights and part of the taillights.

BEFORE YOU COMMENT : -The purpose of this video is only to show the difference between quick shifting and powershifting. -Constructive comments are welcome. -Stop whining about the shape of the transmission. I don't drive like that all day everyday, and it still shifts like butter (must be done properly though). -Whining about the position of my hand on the steering wheel is also irrelevant. I usually drive with both hands on it, but during the making of the video I happened to let one hand on the shifter because I felt like it (multiple shifts on a short time). -Thanks for watching and let the VTEC kick in, yo ! How VTEC Sound Like
This is what VTEC should sound like. The crossover to the high cams should be linear without any power loss. My car was tuned to make maximum power across the RPM range. This was done in 4th gear. I Dynoed 210whp & 154wtq on a Dynojet. Car: 2008 Honda Civic Si FG2 Tune: Hondata FlashPro Mods: I/H/E VTEC kicks in at 4k RPM all the way to a redline of 8.6k RPM. "VTEC (which stands for Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control) is an electronic and mechanical system in some Honda engines that allows the engine to effectively have multiple camshafts. As the engine moves into different rpm ranges, the engine's computer can activate alternate lobes on the camshaft and change the cam's timing.
