Homemade 33CC Gas/Motorized Bicycle
Been working on it for past 4 days and didnt bother to film because i just want to finish it quick. The engine was off of my POS 33CC bandit Scooter I traded like a week ago and since it was so slow I used the engine on my old bike.
The gear box helped alot in the build but after making this vid, the engines head bolts got loose and died about a km from my house LOL!! Luckily there was no major damage and only needed lock tight, new gasket and a honing since there was some small scoring on the Exhaust side because it was running lean.
Max speed is 20MPH/30KM
New Schwinn Stingray OCC Motorized Bicycle
Here is the just finished new Orange County Chopper Schwinn Stingray. The bike was rare to find new since they stopped making them a number of years ago. I installed a Raw 80/66cc 2 stroke engine kit on it with a custom offset motor mount and custom Exhaust w/baffle. I built it to sell so it won't be started and wont have any gas in it. It will be on ebay for your bidding pleasure.
Thanks for watching.

A short video of my new motorized bicycle. This is the Grubee Skyhawk engine kit I installed on a Schwinn Jaguar I picked up at a local Pawn Shop for $30. I also put the largest seat I could buy on it and new handlebars, fenders, paperboy basket and bike computer. The head llight is a $10, 12volt dc flood light connected to a small sla battery in the basket.
Had trouble keeping the chain on so I fabbed a spring chain tensioner using a derailer sprocket and aluminum bar stock.
I had to create a custom mount for the front of the motor to work with the large diameter down tube. Other than that the kit was pretty easy. Came with a twist throttle and kill switch for the bars. Was lucky and found a double brake lever at my local bike shop so the clutch is on the left and both brakes work from one lever on the right. The motor kit and used bike only set me back about $200. The new seat and all the accessories about another $100.
The project received a few snears durring the assembly but as soon as the naysayers rode it they fell in love with it. It is a blast to ride. We are considering another kit for a smaller bike to ride the grandkids on. A used 20 inch bike and motor kit will be cheaper than buying a mini bike.
Full Suspension J Shafted Nuvinci 5.8 hp Morini....
Just a Compilation of Clips when I played with the clutch to get it to work with a Nuvinci Hub. Enjoy! This is why we build bikes! My build log is at http://motorbicycling.com/
This is a centrifugal clutch gears are built into the Nuvinci rear hub. Also no the pipe never ever gets hot it is totally safe even with wearing shorts ! iIs only a 49.8cc motor pipe size is for the two stroke fine tuning.
Some Audio was Bad and Un-salvageable from learning how to muffle the mike on a very cheap cam.. there's good parts in here tho... I got the mic to work by very tightly wrapping layers of electrical tape over it in the end..
Make no mistake the Morini is a loud engine....I would put it at 1.5 times louder than the standard China two stroke kit.
Goathead Stickers here everywhere ''brodder''..........
There is one spot at the Plain cruising at the second stretch of side walk before the Grocery store and at the speed run towards the end of the Video. where...
I find it very easy to over shift sometimes. The centrifugal clutch needs X amount of grip to match a load.. Hence forth X amount of RPM's , enough H.P. to climb through it and or to hold it there........its all related with my currant set up.
Song is by Thievery Corporation.... 2001 Spliff Odissey From A Album Sounds From The Thievery.. http://www.thieverycorporation.com/
I really like there music while I am not big on rap they have really nice instrumental type stuff.. The production and sounds these artist come up with are awesome!!
I don't think I will make a bike like this again tho 5.8 hp seams to be boarder line for the chains and the hub.. I want 9+ hp now.. It was fun to share this with folks! I will go with a single speed bike in the future me thinks. Building my own rides has been fun and this was a learning adventure for me and my first build.. Video sorta shows it works is all. This has been a fun hobby. Enjoy!!
