Though he'd never built a car before, he began with two cars: a crashed 1994 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T drag car, and a second-generation Pontiac Fiero GT. By shoving the complete Eclipse drivetrain in the back of the Fiero, Mike has created an absolutely terrifying monster of a car. The engine runs a 68MM Precision turbo and on 35 PSI makes 700 horsepower, but, thankfully, Mike agreed to dial it back to 20 PSI for my drive, with only 500 horsepower at the wheels.
