7 Cool Upgrades For Your Fiero
Black Top Racing is the new name of TLG Auto. Find us at http://www.BlackTopUpgrades.com Find these upgrades here: http://www.blacktopupgrades.com/fiero/ This video is the product of having people ask for a demonstration of the center console subwoofer, mostly how it sounds, the fitment in the center console and how close it gets to the driver's arm. Of course with any camera-recorded music it doesn't quite do it justice, but we think you'll be able to get a better idea of how well the subwoofer box works!

Bendle & MacKenzie Pontiac Fiero Rocky Mountain Rally May 1991
CanadaMotorSports Bendle & MacKenzie Pontiac Fiero Rocky Mountain Rally May 1991. Quite possibly the most outrageous Pontiac Fiero rally car around. With Time Bendle piloting and Art MacKenzie navigating, they were never boring. Plus a couple of clips of rather rare Toyota Celica 4WD and a Mazda 323 AWD.

0-60 RACE - 87 Pontiac Fiero GT w 3.4 engine VS. 88 MERA
After completing my 3.4 push rod engine conversion using an engine from a 95 Camaro I decided to pit the car against my 88 MERA to see how the bigger engine stacks up against the original 2.8. It would also test the engine as well as my mechanical know-how to see if both can hold up under pressure. Pretty much every Fiero has had some type of alteration for performance sake so I've taken a few minutes in the video to list what each car has in the way of non-stock upgrades that might add a little improvement to the car. That way you the viewer can see why each car is achieving the times that I'm recording. Believe it or not I actually had a hard time finding a second driver at the time I wanted to film this so I decided to race both cars myself and do a split screen. I had a broken left hand at the time and was in a cast when doing this race in the GT. If you put the video in HD and watch the GoPro cam as I'm coming to the stoplight you can see the cast through the window. I had the cast off for only two weeks when I ran the MERA so my shifting might have been a little better had I not needed to worry about gripping the steering wheel to tightly with my left hand. Even still The 87 GT would still have been faster. You can definitely feel it in the throttle. My conclusion is that the 3.4 is definitely the way to go for anyone who either wants to retain a stock looking engine but wants more hp OR anyone who is looking for a budget friendly engine conversion OR anyone who doesn't have the skill level to do the harder DOHC, 3800 or V8 conversions. The 3.4 is noticeably faster and better than the stock 2.8 and has all the up-and-go you'll need but if your looking for neck breaking acceleration you're not going to get it here. You can add some upgrades to the engine for a bit more hp but anything more than that you'll have to move into another engine. Thanks for watching and please comment and share these videos with other enthusiasts.
