This video shows me and my brother removing the third engine out of the X-11, nothing wrong with this one but its time for more power. The second engine had a bad Damper which caused the main bearings to fail losing oil pressure so it is being repaired and ready for installation with edelbrock performance parts, all this cause the left cv axle joint bearing in the transaxle is failing and the seal leaking and since the tranny must come out for repair and with 250k miles might as well rebuild and while the tranny runs fine better now then later with that being done the engine as well is getting some upgrades.

Engine and Transmission Removal - '95 Suburban - Part 1
Using the Ford backhoe, we removed the engine and trans combo from the Suburban. This truck has about 170,000 miles, and sufferred a driveshaft failure caused by a cracked transmission case. The only fix is to rebuild the transmission into a new case. Since so many parts were going to have to come out, it was decided to remove the engine too so it can be gone over, and freshened up.
Now the project will meet a fork in the road - rebuild the trans, freshen up the motor, and put it back in? Or just build up a carb'ed 572 and make lead sled. :)
Paul's 85' Chevrolet Citation X-11
Pau'l 85' Chevrolet Citation X-11, this car is unfortunately gone, it was completely rusted out, it was stripped of all good parts, interior, rims, X-11 goodies, the hatch, bumpers, everything! It lives on in my other 85 X-11 (which I haven`t made a video of yet?? I`ll get on that!) and my 84 X-11.
