The White Zombie sets a 1/4 mile speed record at 126.01 MPH, first time I had ever been to a drag strip and one of the best nights of my life! So many cool Ecars were there!
Speed Records Killacycle
Subject: Killacycle on 'Rapid Turnover; Speed Records' on the Speed Channel
I just got a call from a friend who was watching the Speed Channel and saw the Killacycle, the world's fastest electric motorcycle
on the show "Speed Records". If you pause at the exact right moment, you can see me in there. But what I'm most
proud of is the Battery Management System I designed, developed, and assembled to handle the A123 Lithium Ion Battery pack. The
pack consists of 990 cells; the _exact_ same cells used in DeWalt's new 36V Lithium Ion product line. This BMS can be seen on the
Killacycle segment when you see those green LEDs glowing, and later in the show in the White Zombie segment. Later tonight I'll
post a copy of this video on YouTube (after I finish cleaning up after the flood). I bet if you search for "Killacycle"
and "Speed Records" you will be able to find it on YouTube.
