2013 Infiniti FX50 Test Drive & Luxury Crossover Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/infiniti/fx50/2013/?id=32972 The 2013 Infiniti FX50 is the top of the line when it comes to luxury crossovers from Japan. The FX50 and FX37 have been around for a number of years and these 2 vehicles are differentiated by their engines. The FX50 has a 5.0 liter V-8 engine making 390 horsepower while the FX37 is powered by a 3.7 liter V-6 making 325 horsepower. The 2013 Infiniti FX50 has a base price of $61,400.
Another big element to these sporty luxury crossovers is the styling. The Infiniti FX has always had a love it or leave it presence due to its aggressive and bold exterior design. On the inside the FX50 has good functionality and utility. The cargo room is adequate and the rear lift gate is automatically controlled. The interior space in the rear may be a bit small but this vehicle is a crossover and not a large SUV.
The interior features tons of luxury amenities. The seats are leather and the trim is a lovely maple wood. The technology on the Infiniti is cutting edge with tons of safety equipment like: around view monitor, distance control technology, and intelligent brake assist to name a few. The sound system is also a top notch BOSE unit. This is a high end luxury car and you will get treated like royalty by your Infiniti dealer.
Driving the 2013 Infiniti FX50 is impressive. This luxury crossover can go from 0-60 MPH in a little over 5 seconds which is amazing. The steering is tight and the suspension firm which makes for a wonderfully agile vehicle.

2013 Land Rover Range Rover Test Drive & Luxury SUV Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/land-rover/range-rover/2013/?id=32972 The Range
Rover was first launched way back in 1970 and now for the 2013 model year
there is an all new and totally redesigned 4th generation SUV. The overall
look has still remained throughout the years while also evolving with the
times. And this new 2013 Land Rover Range Rover looks as amazing as ever.
Land Rover states this vehicle has a couple of different design elements
that include: Luxury, Sustainability, Relevant Functionality and
Desirability. Underneath the all the luxury lives the soul of one of the
most capable off-road vehicles ever produced for the mass car market. But
with the high price tag many of these luxury SUVs will never step foot off
the pavement. The base price on a new 2013 Land Rover Range Rover is
$82,650 with the top of the line Supercharged Plus model with the
Autobiography Package starting at $130,100.
For over 40 years Land Rover has been producing the Range Rover and over
that time this vehicle has become the ultimate luxury SUV. This new 4th
generation Range Rover is bold, beautiful, and powerful. This high end
vehicle drives so well you would be hard pressed to find anything wrong
with it. The Range Rover offers a great powerplant, luxurious ride, and all
the features and options you would expect from the leader in luxury SUVs.
The 2013 Range Rover has been completely redesigned inside and out. For
starters they really simplified the instrument panel. Now there are a lot
fewer buttons and the infotainment system is much more intuitive. The
typical driver will not be going off road for the most part, but it is nice
to know they can. Those capabilities are at your fingertips when driving
the 2013 Range Rover.
Under the hood lives a 5.0 liter V-8 engine pushing 375 horsepower and 375 lb-ft. of
torque through an 8-speed automatic. Step up to the Supercharged models and
power jumps to 510 horsepower and 461 lb-ft. of
torque. Fuel economy is 14 MPG in the city and 20 MPG on the highway. Land
Rover has also improved the stability and braking dynamics of this Range
Rover. In fact everything about this luxury SUV is all new but the most
exciting fact is that the weight has been reduced by 700 pounds. Because of
this you will be getting better fuel economy and better performance.
The Terrain Response System is an all new system for the Range Rover and
has several modes of operation. You can choose between a Snow/Gravel
setting, a Mud and Ruts setting, a Sand setting, and the most aggressive
off-road setting is the Rock Crawl Mode. There is no question the 2013
Range Rover is one of the most sophisticated and technologically advanced
SUVs on the market.
There are 4 different trims levels when it comes to the 2013 Land Rover
Range Rover. Choose from the Base model, the HSE model, the Supercharged
model, and the Autobiography model. The latter model swaps out the seating
for 5 and replaces the rear bench seat with 2 Captain's Chairs for maximum
comfort. The Autobiography model is the most luxurious SUV you can buy.
Land Rover has really done a great job with this model. The 2013 Range
Rover is just a brilliant vehicle. If you can afford this luxury SUV do
yourself a favor and go buy one.

Formula Ford EcoBoost 1.0 Liter Street Legal Road Race Car @ SEMA
http://www.autobytel.com/ford Autobytel recently caught up with Michael
Norton, the head of Ford Racing Europe, at the 2012 SEMA show to talk about
Ford's Street Legal EcoBoost Formula
Ford road car. Don't let the racecar look fool you, because this thing is
street legal. As the Motorsports Manager for Ford, Mr. Norton has lots of
inside knowledge on making blue ovals go fast, and he was more than happy
to share some thoughts on the extremely efficient exercise in design.
The Formula Ford EcoBoost Roadcar
that was on display in Las Vegas has been fitted with a little 1.0 liter
EcoBoost engine. The purpose of this
is to show the performance and economy from a small 3-cylinder engine.
Although this engine is not available here in the U.S. it is standard on
many cars in the U.K. including the Fiesta, Focus, and C-Max.
The 1.0 liter engine is part of a bigger EcoBoost engine family. This car was specially
built for a Media Event at Germany's Nürburgring. A lap time of 7:22 was
set by Formula Ford driver Nick Tandy which is the 11th fastest times to be
seen around Nordschleife beating out Ferrari's, Lamborghini's, and all
sorts of cars. This goes to show the true potential of this small 1.0 liter
This Formula Ford car was specifically designed to be road legal. Ford
Motorsports spent the whole summer working with the proper U.K. government
so that the car would be SVA (single vehicle approval) legal. This car has
everything need to pass including mud guards, lights, horn, handbrake, and
other parts to make it road legal in the U.K.

2013 SRT Viper WalkAround Sports Car Video Review w/ Mark Trostle MOPAR SEMA Show Car
http://www.autobytel.com Autobytel was recently invited to a special
showing of Mopar's SEMA cars at the Automobile Driving Museum in El
Segundo, CA where we were lucky enough to get Mark Trostle, Head of SRT,
Viper, Mopar and Motorsports Design to give us a quick walkaround of the
all new 2013 SRT Viper. Powered by a 640 HP 8.4 Liter V10 and weighing in
at under 3500 lbs the all new Viper is a 200 MPH beast, and is even better
when dressed up with a host of Mopar goodies like a carbon fiber X-Brace,
high speed down force kit and bespoke racing harness to make it the all out
track machine that Chrysler intended.
Mark tells us: "When we set out to do the new Viper we really wanted to
make sure it retained the iconic flavor and character of the original
Viper. You look at a lot of cars in the industry, and many of them are not
as recognizable as the Viper. The Jeep Wrangler though is an example of a
vehicle that is very recognizable. We wanted to make sure we held true to
its roots but we did want a more voluptuous flavor of the surfacing. We
have also gone back to a full clamshell hood where the whole front of the
car opens up. There is something kind of heroic about that and the
proportions of the car and the car in general. It really is a great car. We
focused on making everything on the vehicle functional and beautiful. The
new Viper has a top speed of over 200 MPH so you can image we spent a lot
of time in the wind tunnel refining the surfaces. Up front there is
something called an air curtain which is an inlet in the front bumper that
is open to the wheelhouse inner which helps with both down force and brake
cooling. On the hood, every little flick in front of each vent helps
control air so that the car actually Exhausts the hot air out of the engine bay. The
hood scoop feeds fresh cool air into the intake box. Everything is
functional including the blisters on the roof which give the driver and
passenger enough headroom to wear a helmet. One of the other iconic parts
of the Viper is what we call the gill. That is an identifier of Viper that
we have had since the 1992 model. Obviously the shape has been evolved but
this is still one of the great Viper cues."
"The 640 horsepower V-10 Engine puts
out 600 lb-ft. of torque making is a blast to drive. The Viper now has
launch control and traction control which lets the customers use all the
potential of the engine to its fullest. Mopar had a hand in some of the
accessories on the SRT Viper including an X-Brace that is made entirely
from carbon and weights half of what the stock aluminum piece weights. The
X-Brace helps control the chassis flex on the body making the car handle
that much better on the racetrack. We have developed aluminum and carbon
fiber valve covers and aluminum oil fill cap. If you notice even all the
logos are decals instead of a hard badge in an effort to remove weight. The
heroic clamshell hood is great for being able to show off the engine."
"Moving to the rear of the car, the Mopar carbon fiber wing is another
piece that has been developed to increase down force alongside the front
splitter. This full carbon fiber piece can generate 300 lbs. of down force
at 150 MPH. or 500 lbs. at top speed. It's a beautiful and functional
piece. On the inside, we have developed with Mopar aluminum and carbon
shift knob, racing harness, seat set, and carbon fiber satchel with a GoPro
camera mount since a lot of customers like to take their cars to the track.

2014 Audi SQ5 Test Drive Video Review - 354 Horsepower Crossover SUV
http://www.autobytel.com/audi/sq5/2014/?id=32972 The 2014 Audi SQ5 is one
of the only crossovers on the market that push fun to the top of the list.
The S-Line is a high-performance version of the regular Q5 mid-sized luxury
crossover. On the outside of the vehicle, the styling is the same for the
most part. The only additions that give away the secret are the SQ5 badges,
21-inch wheels, a dual Exhaust, and
silver satin mirrors. The base price of an Audi SQ5 is $51,900.
Under the hood is a Supercharged 3.0 liter V-6 engine that makes 354 horsepower and 360
lb-ft. of torque. The transmission is an 8-Speed automatic. The fuel
economy is 16 MPG in the city and 23 MPG on the highway. On the inside
there is a level of luxury you would expect from Audi. The seats are
comfortable with SQ5 stitching, the Display is crisp, the MMI unit works
great. The steering wheel is flat bottom which is reserved for sports car.
The driving part of the SQ5 is important. Anytime Audi wears an "S" in its
badge means the model is a sporty model. You normally would not associate a
crossover as being sporty. But the 2014 Audi SQ5 might look subtle but it
can sure perform on the streets. Besides the 350 HP engine, the SQ5 has big
wheels and big brakes. You can adjust the modes to customize the best
driving choices you are fond of. The SQ5 is very talented, fun to drive,
luxurious, and fast. People might have a hard time paying a high price for
this crossover, but the competitors offer nowhere near the level of
refinement and luxury the SQ5 provide.

There is no slow FX in the line-up, with huge petrol and diesel engines
being the order of the day. Both petrol models boast 0-62mph times under 7
seconds, with the quickest even dipping under the six second barrier. A
stiff set-up means it corners well too but it's worth taking a test drive
to see if the ride is soft enough to live with on a daily basis.

are in need of more space and refuse to give up the raw power and brutality
of your G, take a serious look at this vehicle. Those seeking more space,
refinement, and practically should probably look elsewhere.
