2013 Chevrolet Camaro SS 1LE Performance Package Muscle Car Video Review

http://www.autobytel.com/chevrolet/Camaro/2013/1ss-coupe/?id=32972 Autobytel recently caught up with the Chevrolet Camaro Chief Engineer, Al Oppenheiser, at GingerMan Raceway in South Haven, Michigan for a look at the track focused muscle machine. The 1LE Camaro is new for 2013 and upgrades the Camaro SS V-8 with a $3500 option package that consists of a bunch of upgraded parts from the more powerful ZL-1. The 2013 Chevrolet Camaro 1LE is is for those pony car owners that will let their Camaro run loose on the track; and want to drive the car to the limit. Starting with the exterior, the first thing you notice is the flat black hood which looks great against the Rally Yellow paint scheme. The wheels are upgraded to a set of ZL1 Low-Gloss Black 10-Spoke Aluminum rims size 20-inch wrapped in 285/35ZR20 Goodyear Eagle Supercar Generation 2 performance summer tires. The calipers are now painted red. The other exterior changes you see on the Camaro 1LE Performance Package are a front splitter and rear spoiler. The goal of these aero parts is to help with grip on the track. The manual transmission is a TREMEC 6-speed with a close-ratio gearbox and a 3.91 final-drive axle ratio. The 5.1/1 short throw shifter decrease time between gear changes. The suede shift knob and suede steering wheel are the same ones found on the ZL1 model. The Chevy Camaro 1LE was designed to compete and beat the Ford Mustang Boss 302 which cost over $10k more. You can get into this car for around $37k which is a great price for the amount of performance. 2013 Audi S6 Test Drive & Luxury Car Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/audi/s6/2013/?id=32972 The mid-sized luxury sedan segment is hotter than ever. And no car is hotter than the all new Audi S6. This is the car that will compete with the BMW 550 and the Mercedes-Benz E550. What lives under the hood is what will set the Audi S6 apart from the competition. The legendary Quattro AWD system is no slouch either though. The 2013 Audi S6 has a base price of $71,900. Under the hood of the 2013 Audi S6 is an all new turbocharged 4.0 liter V-8 engine that will impress drivers with its 420 horsepower and 406 lb-ft. of torque. 0-60 MPH fly's by in 4.5 seconds. But the S6 is not all about raw horsepower only. There are fuel saving technologies on board like cylinder deactivation that help the S6 manage 17 MPG in the city and 27 MPG on the highway. The exterior of the 2013 Audi S6 is distinguished by a special grille consisting of more aluminum optics, a dual Exhaust with integrated diffuser, and aluminum side view mirrors. On the inside the S6 features great sport seats, S-Trim badging, chrome accent pieces, and a 19-speaker Bang & Olufsen Advanced Sound System. Bells & Whistles are nice but the proof comes when you are in the driver's seat. The 2013 Audi S6 is arguably the most athletic mid-sized luxury sedan. It simply fly's off the line and sticks top every curve thanks to its legendary Quattro AWD system. The 7-speed dual-clutch transmission is as responsive as it is intelligent, never missing a beat. The electronic steering, throttle response, and shift points can all be adjusted to suit the various road conditions. At a starting price of just under $72k, the 2013 Audi S6 is a great opportunity to get into a world class German sports sedan without having to tap into your 401k account. If you are ready to step into one of Audi's performance line of S-cars then the Audi S6 is a great choice. This vehicle packs amazing technology both under the hood and inside the cabin. 2013 Buick Enclave Luxury Crossover SUV Test Drive & Walkaround Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/buick/enclave/2013/?id=32972 Autobytel recently met with Nick Richards Product Communications Manager for Buick. Nick gave us a wonderful walkaround review of the new 2013 Buick Enclave luxury crossover SUV. This vehicle has been dramatically redesigned for the 2013 model year starting from the front end and working all to the way to the back as well as both inside and out. What's even better is that the 2013 Buick Enclave starts out with an affordable base price of $38,445. The front end design is now much more dramatic and pronounced look that makes the 2013 Buick Enclave look aggressive. The new grille and LED headlights are the first thing people notice when driving down the road. The standard wheels are 18-inch aluminum pieces but you can upgrade to larger 20-inch chrome rims. Along the sides are chrome accents to give the Enclave a sleeker presence. The rear has been totally redesigned featuring a dual Exhaust that has been integrated into the lower bumper diffuser. The LED taillights give this vehicle a dramatic look at night. The engine is a 3.6 liter direct injection V-6 that makes 288 horsepower and 270 lb-ft. of torque. The transmission is a 6-speed automatic which helps the 2013 Buick Enclave manage 17 MPG in the city and 24 MPG on the highway. Buick basically redesigned the entire driver's cockpit on the inside of the Enclave for 2013. The premium materials feature live stitching, contrasting materials, high end wood accents, a new center stack with capacitive touch controls, and accent lighting. One great thing about the Buick Enclave is that it is designed to carry people and families. This large crossover SUV can seat up to 8 passengers but you can also opt for Captain's Chairs in the second row. The 2013 Buick Enclave is a great buy compared to other large crossover SUVs for a couple of reasons. First, the Enclave price point is lower than most the competition. Second, the Enclave is a great looking car with many new enhancements for the 2013 model year. Third, the interior is segment leading thanks to the nice choice of materials. The Enclave has proven to be a good vehicle for the past 5 years and now with this new refresh ups the ante even more. 2013 Audi S7 Test Drive & Luxury Car Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/audi/s7/2013/?id=32972 Four door coupes like the Audi S7 are hotter than ever, these new high performance luxury cars have a sporty coupe-like silhouette and feature the practicality of having 4 doors. Starting at $78,800, the Audi S7 is powered by an all new innovative twin-turbocharged 4.0 liter V-8 engine that produces 420 horsepower and 406 lb-ft. of torque which means it can go from 0-60 MPH in 4.5 seconds. The 2013 S7 has the goods to satisfy your hunger for performance and it starts with the all-new light, compact, and potent engine. When you pair this motor to the 7-speed S-Tronic transmission, you get blistering acceleration times. The exterior of the 2013 Audi S7 is distinguished from the standard A7 thanks to a special front grille, a dual Exhaust with diffuser, and aluminum mirrors. On the inside the S7 gets super sport seats, special stitching on the steering wheel, carbon fiber accents, and S Gauges. But the real differentiator from the A7 is the performance that the S7 exhibits. A sport differential with torque vectoring increases power to the outside wheels during turns that results in even better grip. Air suspension is standard and can be adjusted for the type of driving you are doing. The S7 can be lowered by up to 20mm when in sport mode. With Audi's Drive Select, the driver can modify throttle response and steering for those canyon carving opportunities. This 4-door coupe handle more like a sports car thanks to the Quattro AWD system. Average driver become good, and good drivers become great. The sport differential instills confidence in the turns and the engine provides a nice grin during acceleration. Bottom line is you can get into a 2013 Audi S7 for just under $80k. That makes this performance sedan a true value trumping both the BMW 640i Gran Coupe and Mercedes CLS 550 because you not only get the most advanced V-8 engine on the market, but you also get Audi styling, Quattro, and the best all around performance 4-door coupe on the planet. 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Walk Around with GM's Performance Design Director
http://www.autobytel.com/chevrolet/Camaro/2012/zl1-coupe/ Tom Peters who is the Director for Performance Vehicles at GM was gracious enough to give Autobytel a thorough performance walk around describing the design and performance details on the new 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 coupe. First of all you will note the larger opening in the bumper for increased cooling capacity. The front splitter is the same height as the one found on the Corvette ZR-1. All the details on the front of the Camaro ZL1 were developed and tested in the wind tunnel. The air in the front is not only diverted to cool the radiator but also the front brakes. The hood vent is functional and directs air out the top which aids in preventing lift and creating down force which is important for high speed stability. The hood vents adds a unique character to the front of the car. It also communicates a very serious performance oriented message in a beautifully integrated way. Along the side of the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 you will notice the rocker panels which are called rocker splitters. These side panels help contribute by adding down force and reducing lift. On thing you should notice is that the fenders bulge in order to fit larger width tires. The front tires measure 285 in width with the rear tires measuring 305 in the rear. This provides a huge contact patch for the 580 horsepower the engine creates. Behind the light weight rims are huge Brembo brakes. At the rear of the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 you will notice the rear spoiler. This wing has been modified and optimized to even out the amount of rear down force on the front of the vehicle. The rear diffuser also adds a bit of down force and helps move any trapped air out from under the ZL1. Another neat detail on the Camaro ZL1 are the twin dual Exhaust pipes. Learned through the development of the Corvette ZR-1; the Exhaust has a value to optimize backpressure during normal operation. But during wide-open throttle they open up to increase performance and give the car a menacing growl which adds to the overall character of the vehicle. On the inside of the car there are many performance details too! The steering wheel is based on a racing configuration and features a flat bottom. The wheel is wrapped in ultra-luxurious Alcantara Leather. The seats also feature Alcantara inserts as well as the shift knob. There was an incredible amount of attention and time paid to the ergonomics of the shift knob and steering wheel. The heads-up display and G-Force meter give the driver the performance information he needs. The 200 MPH speedometer reminds the driver that the 2012 Chevy Camaro ZL1 is one very serious performance sports car. The ZL1 is an outstanding car that exudes confidence both on and off the track. The performance capabilities of this car have been well integrated and the Camaro's beauty really shines through. All these performance upgrades all to the overall character of the Camaro ZL1. This vehicle is a great car to drive and experience.
