Supercharged 572 Hemi Challenger SRT8 - Craven Performance
Be sure to check us out on Facebook at:
This has to be the meanest modern Challenger that I've seen yet. This
wicked machine is being built by Craven Performance in St. Peters,
Missouri. They brought it out to Mega Mopar weekend at Gateway Motorsports
Park today, so I decided to take a closer look. This beast is powered by a
fuel-injected, 10-71 Supercharged, 572 Hemi, that is expected to make in
excess of 1200 horsepower on the Dyno. They just fired this car
up for the first time a couple of days ago, so it hasn't seen any Dyno time yet. I'll definitely
keep you posted on what happens next with this car. I hope you find it
interesting....thanks for watching!

1969 Shelby GT500 428 Cobra Jet V8 Four-Speed
I thought you might like a look at this awesome 1969 Shelby GT500. It's
powered by the original 428 Cobra Jet, topped with a Holley 4 BBL carb.
The owner has also added a set of Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum heads to
up the performance a bit. All that power is being sent through a
close-ratio four-speed manual transmission, back to a 9 inch rear. It's
riding on the special 15 x 7 Shelby wheels, with cast aluminum centers. Up
front, you'll notice the unique fiberglass hood, with NACA ducts to let in
cool outside air. The car is painted in the original Pastel Gray, though
it shows white, with blue striping. On the inside, you'll find a deluxe
black vinyl interior, with plenty of Shelby badging of course. It also has
nice set of gauges, including a 140 mph speedometer, and an 8,000 RPM tach.
This car has be beautifully restored and needs nothing. I hope you find
it interesting, thanks for watching!

2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat: 707 Horsepower? Hell Yeah! – Ignition Ep. 116
On this episode of Ignition, presented by Universal Technical Institute,
Carlos Lago drives the most powerful production muscle car on the market:
The Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. While it isn’t the most powerful
production V-8 in the world (which loses to the $1 million McLaren P1 by 20
hp before electric motors), the Hellcat’s 707 hp rating seems too
incredible to believe -- especially when you consider the cost. The
question is whether this Challenger has any brain to go along with its
extreme brawn. Through a trip to the Dyno, the test track, the road,
and a standing mile, we find out.
Ignition appears every other Monday on the Motor Trend youtube channel.

2015 Dodge Challenger Hellcat vs. 2014 Chevy Corvette Stingray
2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray vs. 2015 Dodge Challenger Review
As far as headroom and legroom go, there's not much difference between the
Chevrolet Corvette Stingray and the Dodge Challenger in the front seats.
With the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray you will definitely be making fewer
stops at the gas station than with the Dodge Challenger, due to its larger
tank size and better fuel economy.
There are a lot of factors to consider when calculating the overall cost of
a vehicle. The main consideration is Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price
(MSRP). The Chevrolet Corvette Stingray will definitely make more of a dent
in your wallet than the Dodge Challenger, which has a much lower MSRP.
Another consideration is the Destination Charge, which is a standard charge
for transporting the vehicle to the dealer from where it's built. The
Chevrolet Corvette Stingray and the Dodge Challenger have similar
Since the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is much slimmer than the Dodge
Challenger, it'll be much easier to find a wide enough space in a crowded
parking lot. If you go with the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, you'll have a
much easier time finding a large enough space to park than you will with
the Dodge Challenger.
With its lower torque, the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray doesn't do as good a
job transmitting power to its wheels as the Dodge Challenger.
The Chevrolet Corvette Stingray has less horsepower than the Dodge
Challenger, so it will probably be somewhat slower.
Those who have to chauffeur around a lot of people should beware, the
Chevrolet Corvette Stingray seats a lot fewer people than the Dodge
The Chevrolet Corvette Stingray comes with essentially the same basic
warranty as the Dodge Challenger.
