How To Diagnose A Fuel Pump Failure - EricTheCarGuy
I had the privilege of visiting Airtex, and while I was there I spoke with
Shane Neuman about diagnosing a faulty fuel pump. In this video we go over
the basic steps of diagnosing a faulty fuel pump. So if your vehicle isn't
starting and you suspect a fuel pump problem, here are some steps to follow
to confirm your suspicions. Another 'quick' test is to bang on the fuel
tank and then try and start the engine. Sometimes this works, just don't
bang too hard, you could damage something.

GM Pass Key II Malfunctions: Bypassing V.A.T.S System
Your car won't start? SECURITY light steady lit or flashing? More then
likely it is the Vehicle Anti Theft System (V.A.T.S) at fault. Over time
the resister pellet imbedded in your car key wears out from years of
inserting and removing from the ignition lock cylinder. Here is a cheap way
to bypass it, so you can get back on the road.

1999 Chevy Tahoe 5.7L V8 fuel pressure regulator.mp4
Finding the fuel pressure regulator on a 1999 Chevy Tahoe 5.7L V-8. Under
the plastic intake manifold. Would crank but not start, would only start
with starter fluid and then would remain running, but once shut off, it
wouldn't start again without starter fluid. The fuel pressure regulator
wasn't even in my repair manual. Couldn't find any info online. I hope
this helps those with similar issues. When lifting the manifold, you only
have to lift the left side (pasenger side) as you face the vehicle. This
way you don't have to remove everything. I put it all back together and it
starts up like new. I did check my fuel pressure before digging this
regulator out. I was sitting about 55-60lbs.

Showing off a huge defect of the dashboards of these trucks. It is just
ridiculous that vehicles under 4 years old or under 40k in mileage to
suffer from something like this. & how pays for it? The Customer cause
usually it appears after warrantee & it requires a complete replacement.
Another issues is the Coating of paint or dye used on these plastic
dashboard which also blemish or peel off.
Honestly I never thought I would cover so many in a 2 day period.
1996 GMC Sierra daytime running lights fix!
1996 GMC Sierra K1500 (4x4). My daytime running lights stopped working so I
went to a junkyard and got the relay for $5. Dealer wanted $60!!! This
should work for all 1996-1999 GMC or Chevrolet trucks/suburban/tahoe/Yukon.

Chev / GMC Misfire, poppet injector diagnosis, troubleshooting and replacement

poppet injector utilizing scan tool and 5 gas techniques. The upper and
lower intake are removed and replaced. The distributor cam sensor retard is
re-synced using a scan tool. The re-sync also needs to be performed at
times when a P0340 trouble code sets.
