Datsun 120Y, Canberra SDMA Hillclimb.
Racing the 120Y in the 2009 Canberra SDMA Hillclimb Series, at Fairbairn Park. By the end of the year i won my class, and came 2nd outright. During one race meet, I mounted some cameras and filmed a few of the runs. Class: Type 4 (extensively modified) upto 1600cc Best laptime: 52.70sec Car: 1975 Datsun 120Y Running a worked A15 with twin SU Carbs. 71 rwkw. 550kg rolling weight. 1/4 mile time of 15sec. Its setup more for dirt rally, rather then circuit or drag. Extractors hooked up to a 2.25 inch out-the-side Exhaust. Custom front and rear suspension. Locked rear diff. Stripped interior. Tires are Bridgestone Potenza RE55's. Its not much but its a lot fun :D

Corolla sleeper - Nissan VG30 turbo powered
Scotty's KE30 Toyota Corolla street sleeper was built in a mere 4 weeks. Power comes from a $60 wrecking yard stock unopened Nissan VG30 V6 3L engine and Garret roller bearing turbo @ 26psi Boost. Custom LPG straight gas fuel system by Tunnel Vision, ZX 5spd box, R180 diff. This was the first time out and the car was suffering from diff hop and severe clutch slip in 4th gear running a best time of 11.4 at 127mph. Power is transmitted through tiny 215mm 14in ET Street Radial tyres and was driven to and from the track.
