This video shows the surprise reaction from the car I bought my son. His smile is priceless. My wife's shock is funny when she seen the door open. I jumped through the window to make them think the doors needed work.
I do not believe buying your child a new car does anything for character and of course spending quality time working on a project together builds family closeness. This project car I bought my son Anthony is a Customized 1994 Ford Probe GT that we will customize even more.
The car already has been modified with the Lambo ( lamborghini ) doors, racing suspension,
( shocks, adjustable springs, slotted rotors ) Nippon 18" racing wheels, Pirelli 225/40ZR18 low profile tires and a cold air intake. The engine is the stock 2.5 liter V6 with the automatic transmission. The Exhaust is solid single to the rear suspension and then goes to dual with two cherry bomb mufflers.
When this video was shot last week there was a split at the Y pipe and that was fixed right away and it sounds pretty cool now. The hidden pop up headlights were taken out and the Toyota Celica ones are just sitting up front. The fenders have vents embedded and the hood scoop is good. It has the turn signal mirrors and HID lights that need finished. We will custom fit the Toyota Celica lights.
Anthony plans to finish the car ( with the families help ) with a full ground effects body kit, wing, custom Celica head lights and a cool paint job. We plan to change to the 5 speed manual transmission this winter. In the future we plan to upgrade the engine also. Maybe we will start with headers, true dual Exhaust, head work with larger valves and porting, and better intake work and cam. Then we will look into twin turbos with Nitrous oxide. That might be fun. We will have a blast this summer working on it with the family.
At the end listen to my wife Robin. Her reaction was funny, LOL, she thought that maybe the lambo doors might be illegal and we would have to change them. I did not tell her any of the specifics when I bought the car so her surprise was classic.

Probe GT Turbo 427HP
17 PSI, 110 Octane, Motor will handle 800 HP but stock tranny is maxed out as well as T3/T4 turbo, 427 HP @ 5600. turbo couldn't maintain Boost.
Installing Lambo hinges on a 7th Gen Toyota Celica
I'm not a professional, Do not assume this is a perfect installation. If you believe only lamborginis should have lambo doors, well NO ONE asked you to watch the video. I got the hinges from www.extremelambodoors.com, Here is another link that I used as a reference when installing my hinges,

I was forced to use a grinder, Do NOT forget to paint the grinds if you preformed this, as they will also rust.
I will do my best to respond as effectively to any question. But this is a video just to prove you DONT need a professional to install everything. You just need to actually get up and do it yourself.
Its not rocket science and well not everyone is the brightest peanut in the Turd, But its completely possible for someone to figure this out.
