FG XR6 Turbo 0-200
FG XR6 turbo 0-200. Factory standard.
Rolling on factory 19" rims, Toyo T1R. Brand new tyres, so grip is
fantastic. Usually it would wheelspin to 60, stuffing up the gear change,
but this time it was nice and smooth.
0-100: 4.9 seconds
0-200: 16.1 seconds
80-120: 2.5 seconds
Eased off a little after 200, was contemplating going to the 240 limiter
but the private racetrack had a corner coming up so I canned that idea.
Can't wait to start modding it.

This is the first video of a new short series where I go over the basics of
upgrading your Ford FG's sound system.
In this episode I go over the basics of installing an amplifier and wiring
it to your car so you can upgrade speakers and still have control of your
system through the ICC and steering wheel controls
The issue has been raised to me that putting the fuses in the boot is
actually a bad idea.
If there is a short and the cable catches fire it could set the car on
fire, rather than just a small fire in the hood.
If you are worried about shorts and damage to your car I recommend only
running a few inches of cable and then a fuse in the engine bay, then the
length of the cable into the boot after that

Ford FG XR6 turbo runs deeps 10s
Steve's Ford FG XR6 4L Barra turbo
drives to the track, runs back to back 10.3-second passes at 140+mph on
street radials and drives home. The car has been modified by Nizpro turbocharging and features bottom end
strengthening, a Garrett GT3582X turbo
(stock manifold) running on United Ethanol E85 fuel. The factory ZF 6spd
auto is beefed up by a billet input shaft.

dismantling the Ford FG ICC so I made a newer better version.
