Pontiac 400 engine after rebuild
This is engine for my new 1977 Trans Am "Racer". Specs: '73 block with
stock type crank (.010), pistons (.030) and rods,'69 heads No. 46 with no
mods, stock '69 intake manifold, Summit headers, CompCam 268 HE complete
camshaft with stronger valve springs and 1.6 roller rockers.
Ford FE 352 First start after rebuild.
Me and my dad built this engine, but mostly me, it has stock bore, just
honed, stock crank, just polished, new rings, new gaskets, new bearings new
oil pump, stock flattop pistons with new wrist pins, new 390 cam, new
lifters, new seals, new water pump, new fuel pump, edelbrock performer 390
intake, edelbrock 750 cfm manual choke carb, hardened valve seats, new
keepers, new clutch and pres. plate, new starter, clark 265 5 speed
transmission, MSD ready to run Distributor, MSD plug wires that need to be
shortened, Autolite plugs, MSD Blaster coil.
The engine had low miles on it when I rebuilt it but it had been sitting
awhile. Originally was in a 1966 Ford Galaxy with a automatic. I took a 330
M/D out of a 66 Ford B700 School bus and took the bellhousing, flywheel,
and trans for my engine. It was going to go in my 1947 Ford truck, but then
I got a 43 Ford truck with a good running flathead 6 in it and decided to
just keep the flathead. Don't quite yet know what to do with this engine

Custom 1972 Pontiac Firebird - V8 sound!
Jamboolio records a fully restored 1972 Pontiac Firebird with the 350 cid
5.7L V8 engine and a stunning new paint job.
The monstrous hood scoops and huge air vents added to the all black
exterior makes it a very bad-ass looking muscle car beast! The Exhaust sound is pretty awesome too! Enjoy.

1979 Pontiac Trans Am , 400 , 4 speed , WS6 ,
Pontiac 400 with a ton of torque. I wanted to see if I could climb the
mountain without down shifting...... The Pontiac 400 pulled the heavy '79
Trans Am in 4th gear all the way over the top. On the downhill side, I
shifted to 3rd the save the brakes.
Jaguar e type first start up
The first start-up of the rebuilt engine in my 1964 3.8 E type coupe.
The car was the proverbial "barn find"; it had lain, completely dismantled
in a leaky shed from the late eighties until I acquired her in May 2007.
It has taken the best part of 2000 hours to get to this stage, and only a
little bit more in sterling
The engine was turned over on the starter with the plugs removed to get oil
pressure up before any attempt was made to start it.
As you can hear, the idle screws were adjusted too far down, and when she
first fired I nearly soiled my overalls (with something other than oil) as
I didnt expect it to rev up so quickly, which is why I shut her off asap!
The old girl certainly seemed keen to live again after spending 20 years in
a coma. The idle screws were backed off for the next attempt, and after
gingerly adding more choke she starts up and settles into a remarkably
smooth fast tick-over.
The whirring noise in the background, by the way, is the fully immersed
fuel pump; pretty advanced for the early sixties, that was later changed
for a more conventional external pump on the 4.2.
