LS3 Startup in My Chevelle
This is the first time I'm starting the new LS3 515hp GM Performance Parts crate motor in my '66 Chevelle. Naturally, it wasn't completely trouble-free, but I am extreme impressed with the MSD ignition that needed absolutely nothing to work flawlessly and the FAST EZ-EFI fuel injection that asked a few questions and then started the engine!

Aside from mismatched intake gaskets, wrong gaskets, intake having metal shavings inside, lack of PCV and Brake ports, and TOTAL LACK of instructions... This is a pretty nice setup...

i traded for this with one of my friends at school, when i got it i took all the racing stuff and put it on the hilux, and now im going to make the body into a von dutch style belai, the color of it will be flat black and i am going to shave off all the racing stuff on the body and throw some side skirts over the rear wheels and maybe do some pinstriping
My 72 Vette on Dyno.MOV
This is me with my 1972 Vette on the Dyno. The car has a GM ZZ454 crate engine with a F.A.S.T. EZ-EFI system, Hooker Super Comp side pipe headers with the restrictive Hooker inserts, a TREMEC TKO600 5-speed transmission, and a Ramadei Super 10-bolt rear differential with a 3.73 gear. I just came off the 2010 Hot Rod Power Tour, where I got 19 miles per gallon over a 2,700 mile trip which included a lot of drag racing, hot rodding, and stop-n-go traffic. in this pull, the car did 320 HP at the rear wheels. The ambient temp was 113 degrees. My AFR was pretty good at idle, but way too lean on the top end. I will bring her back when I get my MSD programmable box, my new wires, and the STS inserts in the side pipes. We will start in the evening so it is cooler outside and I can tune the EFI for WOT. I expect to get closer to 375 at the rear wheels with this set-up well tuned. The car did a 13.7 quarter mile at Beach Bend. Once I can get the car to hook up, I should be in the mid 12's.
