Goodwood Revival 2010, St Mary's Trophy, Race One
Race one of the St Mary's Trophy for saloon cars raced between 1950 and
1959. Martin Brundle was the highlight of the race for me, moving up from
4th place to challenge for the lead in his Austin A35 (car# 1), before
contact with the leader punctured a tyre and ultimately put him out of the
race. His efforts were more than appreciated by the crowd though! Tom
Kristensen took the victory in his first visit to the Revival (driving an
Austin A95 Westminster), after a good race with Patrick Watts (in the Volvo
Amazon 122S) was cut short by mechanical failure.

My 1964 Jaguar Mk 2 3.8 litre gets put through it's paces at the 2005

speed, but when you let a bunny loose behind the wheel...
Ford GT40 Crash Goodwood Revival 2010
On the second lap at St Mary's corner Shaun Lynn in the Ford GT40 span and
came to a stop on the track where he was hit by the Lola Chevrolet T70
Syder of Paul Knapfield. The Ford continued but the rear pannels of the
Lola were so badly damaged he was forced to retire. Please see my other
videos from the Goodwood Revival.
Goodwood Revival meeting 2010 - collision, crash - narrow escape - spectacular driving!
Video by http://www.ClassicarGarage.nl Saturday September 18 2:50 PM -
During the Freddy March Memorial Trophy this Jaguar C-type driver had a
'slippery moment'. It looks like the Ferrari 166 MM just barely escapes a
severe crash. Looking closely at the video it seems that the Ferrari
touched the C-type with the left front into the driver door... Remember
these classic racers are worth millions!
Tony Dron in-car v Anthony Reid at 2008 Goodwood Revival
Breathless St Mary's trophy 2008 battle between Tony Dron (Ford Zodiac) and
Anthony Reid (Jaguar Mk1), from the point of view of Dron. Shame it only
lastest a few laps, but this is two seasoned racers dicing for the lead
without ever looking like they were going to make contact. Exciting stuff!
Hopefully Octane Magazine don't mind me sharing this. Here's the original:

St. Mary's Trophy Races, Goodwood Revival 2012
A collection of footage from the St. Mary's Trophy races for saloon cars of
the fifties at the 2012 Goodwood Revival. These hugely varied tin-tops
always provide exciting on-track action and this year featured a fine
battle between cars as flamboyant as Mk1 Jaguars, Austin A40s, a fine BMW
700 and the unique V8, rear engined Tatra.
