Lancia Delta HF integrale (2015) - Super Power & Pure Sound!
During the first edition of Varano Rally Krono 2015 took the track the
beautiful modified Lancia Delta Integrale by Drago Motorsport with about
500 hp. In the first track session the car has had some serious problems
such as the rupture in 3 pieces of one of the rear disc brakes! The car
came in the paddock and rear discs were taken off so in the video you see
the car that braked only with the front system. To better slide into and
out of the corners the team put additional spacers to the wheels which
rests tyres against the wheel arches, the probable cause of the white smoke
that you see coming from the back. Remains the spectacle of its violent
acceleration, great fun to see the Delta turn and overtake easily all cars!
Durante la prima edizione 2015 del Varano Rally Krono è tornata in pista
la mitica Deltona dei ragazzi della Drago Motorsposrt. La vettura
pesantemente modificata è accreditata di circa 500 CV ed anche in questa
sessione di prove in pista hanno avuto alcuni seri inconvenienti come la
rottura in 3 pezzi di uno dei freni a disco posteriori! L'auto è rientrata
e sono stati tolti quindi i dischi al posteriore e nel video che vedete
l'auto frenava solo con l'impianto all'avantreno. Per farla scivolare
meglio in entrata ed uscita dalle curve sono stati messi ulteriori
distanziali alle ruote le quali in appoggio strisciavano contro i
passaruota, la probabile causa del fumo bianco che vedete provenire dal
retro vettura. Resta la spettacolarità delle sue violente accelerazioni,
grande divertimento vederla girare e passare agilmente tutte le auto in

Marzaglia was present this incredible Lancia Delta HF modified for drag
racing with 1000 HP! Really impressive, hear the sound and acceleration!

In this video you can see some modified Lancia Delta HF Integrale during
drag races. The most powerful is the yellow one: it produces more than 1000
hp and accelerates from standstill to 400 m in 9.210 seconds. It is
modified by Rama Racing, for drag race. It's the fastest Delta in the
world! The black one is the Delta by Risi Engineering. You can see the
start up of the Delta RR1, and launches during the race, some revs, pure
sound and burnout to warm up the tires.

Lancia 037 Group B Represents Last Era of Racing Romance
Imagine yourself in Lancia’s position in the early 1980s. Your Stratos
has recently won three consecutive World Rally Championships (1974-76) but
you can see the writing on the wall, writing which reads
“all-wheel-drive.” How do you build on this past success and continue
to be competitive in the new decade? For Lancia, the answer was the 037,
which would ultimately become, in 1983, the last rear-wheel-drive car to
win the WRC Manufacturers' Championship before AWD competitors like the
Audi Quattro and Peugeot 205 T16 completely changed the sport forever.
To compete in Group B events, Lancia was obliged to meet homologation rules
by producing 200 street versions of the 037. While visually striking and
invigorating to drive, the 037 Stradale remains, at heart, a race car and
is thus anything but comfortable. This, however, is precisely what appeals
to owner Philip Toledano, who grew up watching Lancia–more specifically,
the Stratos and 037–dominate European rally racing.
“It’s not like [the 037] was just a sports car designed for people who
wanted to go fast,” says Phil. “This was designed for a purpose, and I
love things that were designed specifically for a purpose, like a
tool–except it's a fast tool that scares the crap out of you.”
The interior of the 037 Stradale belies the car’s racing heritage: the
dash contains a circuit board, conveniently located for periodic resets by
the navigator; a navigator’s light stands at the ready; and the oil
temperature gauge is located on the far right side of the dash, in front of
the navigator’s seat. The 037's exterior is similarly eye-catching.
Sporting a Pininfarina body and a 2.0 liter, supercharged Abarth engine
that, as Phil puts it, makes Star Wars-like noises as he revs through the
gears, the car attracts onlookers wherever it goes.
Usually, however, this 037 is but a screaming red blur, leaving those
onlookers little time to realize what they’ve just seen.
