Nissan has released a video of the test at Le Mans. This will be the only chance for entrants to this year's Le Mans 24 Hours to set their cars up for the big race on June 16/17.
For Nissan, the test represented the Company's biggest commitment to the famous French endurance race to date. Nissan will power a quarter of the entire Le Mans 24 Hours field this year, with particular dominance in the LMP2 class, in which 13 out of 20 cars will use Nissan engines. The star of the show was the radical Nissan DeltaWing which aims to complete the legendary endurance race using half the fuel and half the number of tyres of its fellow Le Mans entrants. All of Nissan's key cars performed admirably, with a top 20 place for 2011 LMP2 champion team, Greaves Motorsport, and a trouble-free day of running for the experimental Nissan DeltaWing.

ALMS 2012 - Nissan Deltawing Big Crash During Testing At Road Atlanta
During testing for Petit Le Mans the Nissan DeltaWing crashed with a
Porsche GTC car and was forced into a roll.
Gunnar Jeannette was behind the wheel at the time of contact with the GTC
Porsche. There's been no official word yet from the DeltaWing team or
Nissan whether or not the car can be repaired in time for this weekend's

Nissan DeltaWing driver Satoshi Motoyama's caught up in the lead battle
between a gaggle of Audis and the Toyota hybrid of ex-Formula One star
The former Williams driver appeared not to see the DeltaWing, being driven
by his fellow Japanese Motoyama, and gave it a hefty sideswipe in the
Porsche Curves. Heart rending attempts fail to re-inject life into the
ground breaking Nissan DeltaWing, ending the car's assault on the Le Mans
24 hours and forcing "the 'fans' favourite" to retire.
