2013 Mercedes-Benz GLK350 Luxury Crossover SUV Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/mercedes-benz/glk-class/2013/ The Mercedes GLK350 is a very functional compact luxury crossover that has been refreshed for the 2013 model year. This segment has grown to be very popular that the Mercedes GLK350 has competition from Audi, BMW, Infiniti, and Lexus. With a starting price of $35,880 the GLK is a very affordable option. The 2013 Mercedes GLK-Class can seat up to 5 adults.
On the outside the chiseled look has been softened a bit and the new features make the GLK350 look more luxurious. Everything about the front-end is new including a better grille, chrome trim around the lower bumper, new headlights, and trick LED daytime running lights. Out back the lines are softer and the taillights are full LED units. The Exhaust tips are oval chrome units that tie the whole package together.
On the inside the ergonomics of the 2013 Mercedes-Benz GLK350 have been significantly improved. The shifter has been moved to the column in an effort to make more room on the center console. The Navigation system and touch screen are one of the best in the business and therefore remain unchanged. New for this model is the addition of a Stop/Start system that shuts the engine off while sitting idle. This system is good for improving fuel economy by a few MPG. Overall Mercedes did a wonderful job on the interior refresh.
The 2013 Mercedes GLK350 is powered by a Direct Injection 3.5 liter V-6 engine that makes 302 horsepower and 273 lb-ft. of torque. That's over 30 more horsepower than last year's model. The 7-speed automatic transmission should help the GLK350 net much better fuel economy numbers than last year's model. Soon Mercedes will be releasing a Diesel version of the GLK-Class called the GLK250 BlueTec that should be a bit hit.
All in all the 2013 Mercedes GLK350 is at the top of the list concerning luxury crossover SUVs. The price is very reasonable, the interior is well sorted, and the new exterior refresh looks great.

2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport Test Drive & Crossover SUV Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/new-cars/hyundai/santa-fe/ The 2013 Hyundai Santa
Fe is a brand new redesign that makes this the 3rd generation automobile.
It's hard to believe that the Santa Fe came out back in 1998. Back then
there were not many crossovers on the market yet. Now that practically
every automobile manufacturer has a crossover, Hyundai is playing it smart.
They have gotten rid of the Veracruz model and then Hyundai has created a
long wheel base and a short wheel base Santa Fe. Prices start at $24,450.
There are 2 different engine options available on the 2013 Santa Fe Sport.
The first is a direct injected 2.4 liter 4-cylinder engine that makes 190
horsepower and 181
lb-ft. of torque. The second engine is a 2.0 liter turbocharged and gasoline direct injected motor
that makes 264 horsepower and 269 lb-ft. of
torque. The standard transmission is a 6-speed automatic. Fuel economy is
31 MPG combined for the turbo and 33 MPG
combined for the naturally aspirated engine.
On the inside the 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport has a great 8-inch Navigation
as an option. The panoramic sunroof is ultra cool and lets rear passengers
enjoy the fresh air and sunlight. The Santa Fe Sport comes standard with
many great features like cruise control, power windows and locks,
Bluetooth, and steering wheel mounted audio controls to name a few. Safety
wise the Santa Fe comes with 7 airbags, stability control, traction
control, and anti-lock brakes. These items are all standard on the 2013
Hyundai Santa Fe Sport.
Many improvements have been made and maybe the most important is the
reduction in weight. The 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe weighs 266 lbs. less than
the previous model. That weight reduction has a positive effect on fuel
economy. The Santa Fe Sport can carry up to 5 people. The rear seat is a
40/20/40 split bench making for a versatile crossover SUV. You can order
the Santa Fe in either FWD or AWD configurations.
The 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport is priced right alongside its competition.
But with the Santa Fe you get more standard features for your money along
with a great 10 year 100k mile warranty.

2013 Mercedes-Benz GLK350 Facelift [1080p hd]
2013 Mercedes-Benz GLK350 4MATIC
The redesign for 2013 involves nearly 1,000 new parts that include bolder
front and rear bumpers, new headlights and a more graceful front grille.
Inside, the new dash features eyecatching burl walnut trim that now spans
the entire width of the cabin as well as shift controls relocated to the
New Engine, Transmission and Electromechanical Steering
Smaller and lighter than its well-known SUV siblings, the 2013-model GLK is
also equipped with a new direct-injection 3.5-liter V6 engine with 302 horsepower and 273
lb.-ft. of torque, an innovative ECO Start/Stop system, a more
fuel-efficient seven-speed automatic transmission with Direct Select and
electromechanical steering. A fuel-sipping four-cylinder diesel model, the
GLK250 BlueTEC, will arrive early next year.
New Safety Features
A number of innovative Mercedes-Benz safety features are available for the
first time on the GLK, including standard ATTENTION ASSIST and optional
DISTRONIC PLUS with PRE-SAFE Brake, Active Blind Spot Assist and Active
Lane Keeping Assist. The new electrically assisted steering also makes
possible optional Active Parking Assist.
ATTENTION ASSIST Cautions "Time For A Rest?"
Falling asleep at the wheel causes more than 100,000 accidents a year in
the U.S., and the ATTENTION ASSIST system can alert drivers to the first
signs of drowsiness. Now standard equipment on the 2013 GLK, a steering
sensor is coupled to smart software that uses 70 parameters to establish a
unique driver profile during the first 20 minutes of driving.
Between 50 and 112 mph, the system identifies the erratic steering
corrections drivers make as they begin to get drowsy and triggers an
audible warning, and a "Time for a rest?" message with a coffee cup icon
appears in the instrument cluster. ATTENTION ASSIST is a great example of
new technology that doesn't need to be expensive to save lives.
Blind Spot Assist
A new option for the 2013-model GLK, Blind Spot Assist uses dedicated radar
sensors to monitor both blind spots behind the vehicle. Whenever a turn
signal is activated with a vehicle in the blind spot, the driver gets
visual and audible warnings. A separate option, Active Blind Spot Assist
incorporates an intervention feature, in which ESP braking automatically
helps correct the car's course if the driver doesn't heed the initial
Lane Keeping Assist
Another new option, Lane Keeping Assist makes use of a special computer to
analyze images from a multi-purpose camera in the windshield to recognize
lane markings. This system alerts the driver by simulating rumble strip
vibrations in the steering wheel if the car drifts from its lane without
the turn signals on. A separate option, Active Lane Keeping Assist (as well
as Active Blind Spot Assist) incorporates an intervention feature, in which
ESP braking automatically helps correct the car's course if the driver
doesn't heed the initial warning.
Adaptive Highbeam Assist
Also new for 2013, Adaptive Highbeam Assist uses a windshield-mounted
camera to control the vertical tilt of both the low- and high-beam
headlights. The system is engaged by turning the headlight switch to "Auto"
and turning on the high beam setting. Whenever there are no other vehicles
in front, the high beams come on automatically, with the lights increasing
gradually rather than suddenly. Since drivers no longer have to think about
controlling the high beams, Adaptive Highbeam Assist makes it safer and
easier to drive in the dark.

What Camerons Car Reviews has to say: For 2013 the GLK gets slightly
refreshed, new highlights include more features and updated styling on the
interior and the exterior, Now in it's 4th model year the GLK continues to
be a success for Mercedes. Why? Well it's because it's refined powertrains
and it's carefully crafted interior. It's sophisticated ride and handling
also make the GLK a pleasure to drive. Power comes from a main 3.5 L V6

2014 Audi RS5 vs 2014 Mercedes-Benz C63 507 Coupe! - Head 2 Head Ep. 51
On this episode of Head 2 Head, Jonny Lieberman sets out to discover which
German hot-rod-personal-luxury-coupe is the best you can get. The 507 Coupe
is the last iteration of the W204 C63. With the exception of the very
limited-run Black Series, it's the best C63 that AMG has ever done. Under
its hood sits a hand-built, 6.2-liter naturally aspirated V-8 good for 507
more do you want? Perhaps something more high-tech, and that's where the
Audi RS5 comes in. The sexy coupe from Quattro GmbH in Neckarsulm features
a 4.2-liter V-8 that spits out 450 hp. That¹s less power than the 507
Coupe makes, true, but the Audi also features AWD, a dual-clutch
transmission, bigger wheels and tires, plus a trick torque-vectoring rear
differential. Which one is quicker? Which one is more fun to drive? Which
one is best? Watch and find out!
