1975 Chevrolet Monza 2+2 350ci 4 Speed Hot Rod
Back in '75, the only people that knew that the Chevrolet Monza 2+2 was a little racer were the ones that owned one. They were rockets. This rust-free, California car happens to be an OVER the moon one. Put together by Corvette Corner, the drivetrain consists of a Z24 350ci engine with Edelbrock Performer plus cylinder heads and a Crane H228 cam. The transmission is a new (less than 2000mi) Richmond manual 5-speed with a Hurst shifter. This was just the starting point. Keeping you running "chill" is a BE COOL radiator. All new suspension, S-10 spindles and brakes in the front, Professional paint, Custom stereo, Rockford Fosgate, Alpine and JL Audio and new interior. Here is my personal take...I drove this as a part of our normal process before we accept anything into our program. WOW! This is a fun, fast, unbelievable sounding, hot rod that you just don't expect from just looking at it. Do not misunderstand this as being the car you drove back in high school. IT IS NOT! It is WAAAAYYYY better!! If you have any additional questions, please call one of our friendly sales staff at 614-276-7355 or Toll-Free 866-230-2851. We will be glad to help in any way including a walk-around for a more detailed description, any questions on financing, or perhaps an interest in our Sell Your Car Brokerage Program. In business since 1996, we have sold cars all over the world and we insist on giving the best personal service in the industry. *Please note that we do our best to represent our vehicles honestly in our listings. We will recommend to the buyer, or a representative of the buyer (inspector, friend, family member), to do their due diligence and come up with their own conclusions before purchasing any vehicle. Leaf-Blower Supercharging a 1978 Chevrolet Monza Spyder! - Roadkill Episode 16
On this episode of Roadkill, it's fun with Leaf Blowers. Experts on the Internet said it would never work. That's never stopped Freiburger and Finnegan, and this time on Roadkill the guys put the theory to the test: can hardware-store leaf blowers supercharge an engine and make power? Step one was buying a '78 Monza Spyder with a 305 V8 and a four-speed stick. Step two was to take it to the shop of HOT ROD Drag Week racer Jeff Lutz to tune it up, swap the engine to a 350, Dyno test it with five leaf blowers, and do a whole bunch of needless burnouts. Step three was to drive the Monza to Willmington, Ohio, for the East Coast Timing Association's Ohio Mile event, a standing-mile race where they'd find out if leaf-blower power adds up to more speed in the real world. The outcome? Who really cares? Because on Roadkill, it's always about the adventure. And more burnouts.
