Plagued with your Ford EATC blowing air out of the defrost no matter what mode you set it too? This tutorial is for you. The Demo car is a 2008 Mercury Grand Marquis LS with the Ford EATC. This is applicable to several Ford/Lincoln/Mercury Models through the years of 1992 - 1995 (Soft Button Units) and 1996 - 2011 (Hard Button Units). An In-Depth Tutorial of the Removal of the Ford EATC Unit from a Mercury Grand Marquis, Dis-assembly of the Ford EATC Unit, replacement of the O-Rings within the vacuum solenoids, Reassembly of Ford EATC Unit, re-install back into the Mercury Grand Marquis and Test Run. Hope this helps all of you out there that have been plagued with this problem with the Ford EATC. This should only take an hour or two to get a Ford EATC back to working condition.
