One very fast lap in a Gardner Douglas T70. Car is a real british jewel, handmade by www.gdcars.com. This one has a modified Corvette Z06 engine, with about 720 hp for 920 kilos of dry weight. Such a shame we had just finished to running in the engine and left the rpm limiter at 6500 rpm, you can here the car hitting the limiter on the main straight at about 300 kms/h. It was a wonderful race. I started in 4th and ended in 5th. I had pretty good fights with the top drivers but after hitting the chicane, I slowed my pace because i had a lot of understeer. Overall I think it was a pretty good result considering the drivers and the fact that it was the second time i was in Goodwood and the first time driving the Lola in this circuit. Foi uma corrida fantástica. Comecei em quarto e terminei em quinto. Tive muito boas "lutas" com os pilotos da frente, mas depois de bater na chicane, eu diminuí o ritmo, porque eu tinha um monte de subviragem. Em geral, eu acho que foi um bom resultado, considerando os pilotos e o facto de que era a segunda vez que eu estava em Goodwood e pela primeira vez dirigindo o Lola neste circuito.
