1992 Dodge Daytona IROC R/T~Learning to Fly-pt 1.wmv
The buildup of my 1992 Dodge Daytona IROC R/T begins.... Goes from mild
stock to pretty wild in the 4th video. This particular Daytona IROC R/T was
1 of the first 5 ever made and carried the PVP (pre vehicle production)
pilot car badge to prove it. It was a very fun car, and will be missed. It
goes from a 15second car to a decently quick car by the 4th video over a
span of a few years. Enjoy.

1969 Roadrunner Show Car
1969 Plymouth Roadrunner
If you have paid any attention to Barrett Jackson, Mecum and the other
nationally acclaimed auctions you have probably noticed that you can't go
wrong with a mopar. These cars are EXTREMELY popular and continue to just
become more rare as time goes on. Of them the Plymouth Roadrunner is a
body style that never fails to draw a crowd. The 1969 Roadrunner you see
here delivers that classic muscle car look of the 60s but is fully loaded
with all the best components you can find. The "official" restoration was
done between 2000 and 2003 but the car is continually worked on, updated
and upgraded. The body is very straight and topped with some of the nicest
pearl Burgundy paint you have ever seen. It was a custom blend of House of
Kolor Candy Apple Wild Cherry with Red Ice and Pearl which all works
together to create one of the deepest paint jobs around. The hood is
painted Gloss Black with White Ice and pearl and was just as cleanly done
as the rest. Everything was clear coated 4 times for the perfect finish!
That combined with the perfect chrome gives you a car that never stops
shining! All of the stainless trim is mounted cleanly and shines just as
well. The glass is all good and has a nice dark tint that just adds to the
tough look of this classic. On the passenger side and driver side window
you will find custom Roadrunner graphics that were very nicely etched into
the glass. It has a great stance with the slight rake that looks perfect.
It rides around on polished Cragar SS wheels with fresh tires.
The beauty of this classic doesn't stop with the exterior so pull off the
hood and check out the very nicely done 440 CI motor. If the paint and
body don't grab their attention the engine sure will. It was all
professionally built and was bored .30 over and honed for Jegs Plasma Molly
Rings. It also utilizes Jegs forged speed Pro pistons and rods. Other
high performance components include the Crower solid lifters, roller
rockers, and full race cam. The heads have a 5 angle valve job and were
ported, polished, and matched prior to being installed. They are a 67
close chambered to run unleaded gasoline. Topping it all off is a very
clean Edelbrock finned air cleaner which sits atop the dual Edelbrock
Performer series 600 AFB. Under these you will find the Edelbrock mini
high rise intake manifold. Other important features under the hood include
a Holley "red" electric fuel pump, MSD 6 series electronic ignition, MSD
distributor, MSD high performance blaster 2 coil, all Cool Flex hoses, and
Optima gel battery. The car has the sound to match the looks which is
provided by the Doug Thorley headers and 3" X tube dual Exhaust into dual Flowmaster single chamber
mufflers. To handle the power a beefed up 727 automatic transmission with
3500 RPM TCI torque converter is in place. The suspension system utilizes
high jacker air shocks with leaf springs and chrome traction bars in rear.
The interior of the car was all custom finished out but utilizes the
original style dash. It along with the doors were painted using the same
gloss Black as the hood. The dual high back bucket seats are nicely
covered in Black and have custom embroidered Roadrunners on the headrests.
In between these is a fully custom center console to house the B&M mega
ratchet style shifter and extra gauges/switches. An after market AM/FM/CD
player has been added which provides a great sound. The polished Grant
steering wheel is nicely mounted to the column and uses an after market
power steering system.
Other very cool custom features include the hood scoop LED lights and added
PA system for the Roadrunner at car shows. There are only so many ways to
put it...THIS IS ONE AWESOME MUSCLE CAR!

Let's not waste any time on this brilliant green 1970 Road Runner. It's a
440 with a Six Pack, and it's probably the fastest car we have in the shop
right now. It has been given a recent restoration, and the condition of the
body and undercarriage is jaw-dropping. This is an off-the-charts amazing
Why have a Road Runner without the high-impact color? The lime green paint
is stunning. The straight, clean and solid body is wave free and rust free.
All of the gaps, margins, panels, and door and trunk lips are clean, just
the way you want them. The flat black hood and dust decal stripes along the
flanks have been expertly installed. The chrome and stainless is extremely
clean, and looks appropriate on the car. Honestly, it jumps out at you in
the photos, doesn't it?
Under the hood you'll find the 440 Six Pack engine, fully restored and
highly detailed. The casting number on the motor is 2536430.10. That big
air cleaner looks intimidating covering those three carburetors, and is
properly detailed with a fresh coat of paint and a correct decal set. Take
off that air cleaner and check out the Six Pack Holley carbs, as well as
the Edelbrock intake. This Road Runner carries no performance-robbing
accessories like power steering or power brakes—this is a man's car all
the way through. Details like the radiator, Mopar battery, and Road Runner
horn look to be brand new.
The transmission is a 727 driving the 8.75" rear with 3:73 gears. The rust
free, patch free floors are covered in the same paint color as the body,
and looks tidy and clean. The suspension features new ball joints, sway bar
links and new shocks. The springs have been painted and look brand new. The
frame members have visible stamped part numbers, that's how clean they are.
O2 sensors, a new gas tank, new fuel lines and new brake lines were also
included in the restoration. The drum brakes stop the car confidently,
although you need to give the pedal a good shove just like any car with
manual brakes. A stainless steel Exhaust system with Dynamax mufflers has been
recently installed that gives the big 440 a deep voice that doesn't get
obnoxiously loud when all six barrels are wide open.
Optional Dog Dish hubcaps sit on body matched painted wheels.
The black and silver interior is simply spectacular, and surprisingly it
goes very nicely with the green bodywork. The seats, door panels, carpets,
headliner and the dash are all in great shape. The standard gauges are
present, as well as an aftermarket column mounted tach and dual aftermarket
water temperature and oil gauges mounted under the dash. A bench with a
column-shifted automatic saves some weight. In back, the painted trunk has
a new mat as well.
Beautifully finished inside and out, it's ready to show at high-level
events where it might be the subject of considerable speculation. This is
just a cool car in great colors that is neck-snapping fast. What more do
you want? Call today! 7 Days a Week 248-974-9513 This will NOT last!!!

This car started its life in the Detroit area and was built into a drag

street legal car. He removed the cage and did a rotisserie restoration on
it. His friend in North Carolina who is involved in NASCAR built the engine
for him. It is a 440 Six pack 4 speed and has he claims 700HP.
