BMW & Benz Rev Up @ the Track - BMW 750Li and Mercedes S550
BMW VS. MERCEDES TRACK SMACK @ INSIDELINE.COM: http://blogs.edmunds.com/straightline/2009/04/il-track-tested-2009-bmw-750l i-vs-2009-mercedes-benz-s550.html?tid=edmunds.il.home.photopanel..2.* These are the big guns from BMW and Mercedes-Benz. Well, not the biggest guns, but with prices near or above the $100,000 range, they're big enough. The BMW 750Li is all-new for 2009 and looking better than ever. Its 400-horsepower twin-turbo V8 makes it the closest thing to a "Motorsport" 7 Series we have ever seen. The Mercedes-Benz S550 is getting a face-lift next year, but the current model has held up well. And with a 382-horsepower V8 of its own, it doesn't give up much to the new BMW. One look at the track numbers and you'll be amazed what these 2.25-ton sedans can do. From 13-second quarter-mile sprints to 110-foot stops from 60 mph, these two sedans are perfect examples of what can be accomplished when money is no object. Full details after the jump.

2012 BMW 3 vs Mercedes S-Class Drag Race
OMG the time has come. 2012 drag race between 2006 BMW 325i and 2002 Mercedes-Benz S-Class 320L CDI. In the video the beamer wins but the reality is that we ran several tests and both cars are equal. At the begining the beamer starts first ... then benz is catching up - 470 Nm ... than the benz is chatching up again - it has higher max speed in the 1st gear) and then they are even :) They go head to head rest of the way.

2014 BMW 7 series Full Review
► SUBSCRIBE NOW : http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=BMWFanClubTV ► FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/CarNewsTV 2014 BMW 7 series Full Review BMW 7 series Review You are looking at the fifth-generation BMW 7-series, and if you're surprised by how similar to the previous model it appears then you are quite clearly not alone. So close in feel visually is the new Seven to its predecessor -- the first BMW to boast Chris Bangle's controversial flame-surface styling, remember -- you could easily mistake it for a mid-life revamp model. In reality, of course, it's a brand new car featuring a brand new platform and an entirely new bodyshell, which just happens to look remarkably like the one before. A very broad range spreads from the cheapest 730d SE, which carries a mid-£50k price tag right up to the 760Li M Sport (an unlikely combination of attributes) that costs almost double the entry-level car. The 7-series started life, as so many of BMW's headline models did, in the mid-1980s. And although it has gained weight, size and technical sophistication across the four different models that have followed, the fundamental template has remained virtually unchanged. Just as the very first versions were, the latest car is rear-wheel drive and features a range of straight-six engines, the vast majority of which were petrol to begin with but have now been superseded by turbodiesel units. In the second-generation car a V12 option was added. A series of V8s have since joined the mix and there have been numerous long-wheelbase models as well.
