So we got one of the first 2011 5.0L crate motors from Ford Performance, so
naturally we took it apart to see how it's made. you can tell Ford is
feeling the pressure from GM's LS motors in the Camaro as this motor is a pretty
big departure from the previous 4.6L and looks as though Ford really put
some thought into building this one. Piston oil squirters, beefier rods,
captured rollers & channeled bearings are just a few of the old school
style performance tweaks with this new motor. Check out the video for more.

Lethal Performance Exclusive! FRPP/Whipple 624hp Supercharger Kit for the 2011 5.0L Mustang GT
We just got finished installing the new Ford Racing/Whipple 624hp Supercharger kit for our grabber blue 2011 5.0L Mustang GT. The work was
performed at Power By the Hour Performance in Boynton Beach FL by Jake,
Jesse, Takeshi and John. The fit and finish of the kit is everything you'd
expect from FRPP and Whipple. The kit came complete with everything
including the Intercooler, Intercooler pump, 47lb
injectors, lower manifold, Supercharger,
GT500 throttle body and a custom calibration from the tuning experts at

I thought I'd make a video showing a quick and free modification to your
2011 Mustang GT, which
dramatically changes the sound within the cabin. Really gets the heart

5.0 from 0 - 151 mph, some wheel spin from 1st to 2nd and missed 5th. its a
little to hard hold the camera and the steering wheel with one hand and
shift with the other. and i ran out of road so this is the top speed so

Mustang Ford Racing Boss 302 Intake Manifold Installation 2011-2014
Give your 2011-2014 GT some racing-inspired performance with the Boss 302R
intake manifold from Ford Racing! This intake manifold is made from a
light-weight composite material, and features high-quality fitment and
shorter runners, which offer your Mustang optimum flow at higher RPMs.
Bill demonstrates how to install this new intake manifold in our 2013
"Gotta Have It Street" Mustang, including the installation
kit. The Ford Boss 302 intake manifold kit includes the fuel vapor hose,
fuel lines, and intake bracket, as well as the hardware necessary.
The first step in installation is to remove the original intake manifold,
JLT cold air kit, and fuel rails, following Bill's tips and instructions.
Then, prep the new Boss 302 intake and secure it in your engine bay. Make
sure to torque the screws on the intake in the proper sequence demonstrated
in the video!
Reconnect everything, extend the wiring harness for the purge valve, and
replace the covers. Lastly, Bill installs the new strut tower brace and our
installation is complete, taking between 3-4 hours.
