We've been working on an exciting project over the last few months to mark
the 10th anniversary of the first XR6 turbo last year. Currently we're in the process of
creating a documentary which covers the birth of the Factory Falcon turbo and it's variants. For our fans, here's a
little teaser of our biggest feature yet!

Phil Chain's XR6 turbo currently holds

down the track at Jamboree and only (??) managed a couple of 9.1sec runs at
over 160mph. It's a beast of a thing with a massive GT47R turbo. How soon until we see a 7sec pass from an

Also something to note around Mighty Car Mods: we are normal guys and are
not trained mechanics. We like to make interesting car mods and show you
how we've gone about it, but we can't promise that anything we show you
will work for your particular car, or that you won't harm yourself, someone
else, your car or your warranty doing it. Please be safe, be responsible
and unless you know what you're doing, do not fool around with very serious
machinery just because you've seen us make it look so easy. Talk to a
qualified mechanic if you are in any doubt.
