1967 Mercury Cougar XR7 289 V8 50xxx Actual Miles
I thought you'd like a look at this very clean 1967 Mercury Cougar XR7. This beauty only has about 50,xxx original miles and it really looks great. It's powered by the original 289 V8 and it has been really nicely restored under the hood. All the power is sent through a C4 automatic to an 8" rear with 2.73 gears. The interior looks to be all original and extremely well kept as well. This really is a great car all the way around. Thanks for checking it out! 1967 Mercury Cougar 289 V8
I thought you might like a look at this very cool 1967 Mercury Cougar. It's powered by a 289 V8, backed by a 3 spd automatic. It's equipped with hideaway headlights, a hood scoop, rear spoiler, etc. It could use a little work here and there, but overall, it's a great looking car. I hope you find it interesting, thanks for watching! The background music track is Whiskey on the Mississippi by Kevin MacLeod. Available under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported license. 1967 Mercury Cougar First Start In 25+ Years

Mercury Cougar - American Muscle Car
An excellent TV show featuring the classic Mercury Cougar. They cover all the classic years, and talk about all the different engines and option packages you could get. Only a couple minor mistakes (they say the that XR-7 package included a 4-speed stick, then show an automatic shifter in one... derrr) but overall a very nice overview of these cars.

COUGAR TEST DRIVE
badassness. this is my 67 cougar xr7. it has a rebuilt 289 .30 over. pretty hot mild cam. 500cfm edelbrock carb. aluminum ford racing intake. rebuilt c4 automatic transmission. turbo Exhaust made by summit. hedman headers. its running a little rich in this video my step dad says. this is my first car and so far all i learned from cars is from building this beast so i have no clue what running rich sounds like haha. but i know this things kicks pretty hard. havent got a chance to really open her up yet because i still need to break in the motor. theres less than 50 miles on the rebuilt motor and transmission. all the front suspension is done and steering parts are on their way and will be done. found a crack in the shock tower i will need to get welded before alignment but thats not too big of a problem. more videos to come.
