2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo vs. 2013 Scion tC Release Series 8.0 Comparison
With their unique and bold styling as well as loud color options, here are two cars that certainly aren't for everyone. Both the Scion tC and Hyundai Veloster turbo are, however, more accommodating than you might think thanks to excellent fuel economy, functional cargo space and attractive pricing. They're not exactly 'Hot Hatches' but are definitely sportier than the average, which is why at AutoGuide.com we've pinned them 'Luke Warm Hatches.' http://www.autoguide.com/car-comparisons/2013-hyundai-veloster-turbo-vs-2013-scion-tc-rs-80-video-2434.html Subscribe http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=AutoGuideVideo YouTube - http://www.youtube.com/user/AutoguideVideo Facebook - http://facebook.com/AutoGuide Twitter - http://twitter.com/AutoGuide Google+ - http://goo.gl/LBxsP Web - http://www.AutoGuide.com AutoGuide reviews the latest new cars with test drives, car comparisons and shootouts plus coverage of breaking auto industry news, auto shows, rumors and spy photos. 2013 Acura TSX Review
Long in the tooth, the TSX is still one of the best balanced, front-wheel drive sedans on the market. 2014 / 2015 Acura RLX Review and Road Test with AcuraLink Review
Check out my other videos! http://vid.io/xqoB Who is Alex? Find out here! http://vid.io/xqoF Breaking into the Luxury market isn’t easy. Toyota has arguably had the most success with Lexus, the only full-line luxury marque sold in America that isn’t German. Infiniti gave up on trying to go head-to-head with the S-Class and 7-Series when they ditched the Q, and Cadillac has yet to have a complete and coherent strategy. Meanwhile Acura started off strong with the Legend, created a competent E/5 competitor with the all-wheel-drive RL, and then things started to fall apart. Can the RLX bring the brand back? Why do I bring up Germans in a review of a front-wheel-drive luxury sedan? Because some folks [not everyone mind you] at Acura and plenty of fan boys would like to think the brand runs with the big dogs. In truth Acura has always been a “near-luxury” brand because they lack a full-size competitor to play in the S-Class/7-Series/A8 pool. Competition In order to look at the RLX through the right lens, we need to nail down the competition. Acura would like you to believe the front-wheel-drive RLX should be pitted against the rear-wheel-drive BMW 528/535, Mercedes E350 and Lexus GS350. I think this comparison has a few problems. First, the RLX isn’t as dynamic as a RWD sedan. Second, Acura’s brand position is a problem. What say our readers? Should the brand matter in comparisons? Should this all be priced based? In my mind the RLX’s drivetrain and the brand’s near-luxury image put the Acura in direct competition with the Cadillac XTS, Lincoln MKS and Volvo S80. What about the FWD/AWD A6? Perhaps, but Audi’s brand is a solid BMW/Mercedes competitor these days.

Competitors: Cadillac XTS, BMW 5 Series, Lexus GS, Mercedes E Class What Camerons Car Reviews has to say about the RLX: Some people say "Finally!" as to meaning Acura finally as a decent flagship on their hands replacing the terribly outdated RL. The new RLX now features more technology that's worth noting and the seats are very comfortable in the RLX feeling silky smooth like a Lexus. Acura's new signature jewel LED Headlights are also a new first to Acura and it should lure some buyers in. Compare to the new Cadillac XTS, they are both great cars however the XTS will offer better technology and the Acura will be the reliability king as well as the resale value king, A V8 is not available under the hood as well as the RLX does not offer Real Wheel Drive. Power comes from a 3.5 L V6 with 6-Speed Automatic with a Hybrid coming later this year. All in all great car from Acura.

Impressive new technology, a new engine, class leading fuel efficiency, and a cavernous rear seat finally put Acura back in the mid to full-size luxury sedan class. If your requirements for this type of vehicle include a smooth ride, large back seat, excellent value, the latest tech features, and a reputation for reliability, we can happily say put Acura back on your list. Those looking for V8 power and RWD should look elsewhere. *Promotional consideration brought to you by Radley Acura in Baileys Crossroads located at 5823 Columbia Pike, Falls Church, VA 22041"

2015 Hyundai Genesis 5.0 Detailed Review and Road Test
Check out my other videos! http://vid.io/xqoB Who is Alex? Find out here! http://vid.io/xqoF Check out my other videos! http://vid.io/xqoB Who is Alex Dykes? Find out here! http://vid.io/xqoF If the 2009 Hyundai Genesis was a shot across the bow of Lexus and Infiniti, then the 2015 Genesis 5.0 is a torpedo hit below the water. While BMW and Mercedes didn't seem overly concerned about the last generation Genesis, this 2015 model should make them very worried indeed. From the outside, the Genesis (in all trims) strikes most of the right cords with luxury shoppers that prefer flowing lines to sharp creases. While previous products from Korea have been more imitation than innovation, the Genesis both deviates from the theme yet clearly draws inspiration from the rivals. Of course the ultimate question is: can Hyundai convince luxury car buyers that they can get most of the same goodies on a $50K Hyundai as a $70K German or Japanese sedan? Even if that hurdle can be jumped, will the brand conscious think twice? To those adventurous car shoppers who manage to look beyond brand perception, they will find a car maker with the best warranty in the industry making reliable cars with a dollop of style and a 'whole lotta' value. What kind of buyer are you? Are you buying that LS460 because it carries a $70,000 price tag, or because you like the way it coddles you? Are you buying the BMW for the roundel or for the 0-60 time? I would posit the Hyundai does all the above minus the badge. As a result the Genesis is my new favorite car for 2014.

2014 Acura RLX Text Drive & Luxury Car Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/acura/rlx/2014/?id=32972 The Acura RLX is an all-new nameplate that replaces the outgoing RL as the top of the line flagship model in the luxury car line-up. The 2014 Acura RLX features a handful of new signature Acura Technologies designed to take this luxury sedan to a higher level of performance and comfort. There are also some new systems that while can be found on other cars, are new to the Acura brand. The RLX has a base price of $48,450 but can quickly swell to over $60,000 when you add on various packages. What is the first Japanese brand to bring a luxury car to America? You might say Lexus or Infiniti but those answers are wrong. Honda was the first manufacturer to bring over a luxury brand with Acura in the mid 1980's. These vehicles were not only luxurious but also very innovative. Now we have the all new Acura RLX that sports many new features both inside and out. Up front the first thing that you will notice about the 2014 Acura RLX luxury sedan are the Jewel Eye LED headlights which have a very unique look. The bucktooth grille, which is now a common trait on Acura vehicles, has also made its way onto the RLX. The rest of the exterior is a bit plain and mundane but that's alright because some people do not want a luxury car that stands out. If there one area where Honda excels it is with engine technology. Acura has replaced the engine from the outgoing RL with an updated version of their V-6. This 3.5 liter engine is a bit smaller but features direct injection and puts out more power at 310 horsepower and 272 lb-ft. of torque. The transmission is a 6-speed automatic. Fuel economy is 21 MPG in the city and 30 MPG on the highway. One great feature on the RLX is the P-AWS system which stands for precision all-wheel steering. What this system does is turn the rear wheels up to 1.5 degrees for a more precise steering feel. If there is one area in which Acura excels it would be the infotainment system. The AcuraLink system delivers all sorts of information, traffic reports, and connects to your wireless devices. The ante has also been upped when it comes to the interior and the quality of the materials. As far as cargo capacity, this mid-sized luxury sedan does a good job. There is plenty of room for 5 people plus a nice sized trunk for their belongings. Acura has a place in the luxury car market especially for people who love the Honda brand. The RLX may be a larger, more refined, and more luxurious version of the award-winning Honda Accord. 2014 Acura RLX Sport Hybrid Review and Road Test (Pre-Production)
Check out my other videos! http://vid.io/xqoB Who is Alex? Find out here! http://vid.io/xqoF It wasn't that long ago that I had an Acura RLX for a week. If you recall that review, I came away liking the car but found little joy in its high price tag. Despite wearing a fantastic stitched leather interior, there was just no way I could justify the $10,000 premium over the AWD competition from Lincoln, Volvo and others. In an attempt to remedy the faults that many found, Acura will be releasing the RLX Sport Hybrid in the spring. Can a new dual clutch transmission and three electric motors save the RLX from being a good car with the wrong price tag? Let's find out.
