1999 Chevrolet Corvette C5 Convertible Driving Impressions and Review
Listen with headphones or good speakers for best experience.
I drive the '99 C5 and give my take on it. This was my first "review", so
to speak, so cut me some slack on the "umms" and "you knows" and things
like that. This C5 is equipped with an LS1 V8 and a 6 speed B&W T-56
manual transaxle transmission. 3.42 rear end, OEM Magnesium wheels with
Pirelli P-Zero tires (275's in the back). Stock Exhaust with Corsa tips. There's a
half-throttle 3rd gear pull to 65 and a half-throttle through 1st, 2nd, and

Corvette C5 w/ Corsa Exhaust Sounds Demoniac!
Thanks to a good friend, I had the opportunity to have a ride in his
Chevrolet Corvette C5, fitted with some Corsa Exhaust. The Exhaust has valves and they can be controled
from the driver's seat.
As you'll hear, there's a big difference when they're closed or opened.
Of course, all the video was shot with opened valves !
Damn this V8 American muscle car is loud!
Enjoy the ride!

Self-contained ProCharger Superchargers
provide the industry's highest efficiency and coolest charge air
temperatures. This cool, dense air means more oxygen and fuel for your
engine, less exposure to detonation and more power. ProCharger Superchargers utilize natural centrifugal forces
to compress air and are not exposed to Exhaust-heat transfer.
As a result, they produce cooler air than other designs such as positive
displacement Superchargers and turbochargers. Designed and manufactured in the
USA, ProCharger models for both street/strip and hardcore racing feature
the highest step-up ratio, a patented, self-contained oiling design,
exclusive billet impellers, and precision billet gearcases for superior
rigidity, sealing and appearance.
In addition to higher efficiency and no heat transfer into the blower from
heated engine oil, ProCharger's mounting location also places the Supercharger in a fresh air stream, an additional
thermal advantage. No heat transfer from an Exhaust interface, nor heat transfer from engine
top mounting. Self-contained oiling and this mounting location, together
with high efficiency centrifugal compression, combine to produce the
coolest operating and charge air temperatures.
This high efficiency design also results in optimized fuel economy. With a
unique combination of durability and high performance, with years of proven
performance on the street and championship-winning performance on the
track, self-contained ProChargers are the ultimate power adder.
ProCharger's New i-1 Supercharger Features Programmable Boost Curves
With the new revolutionary ProCharger i-1 Supercharger system, you can have programmable Boost right from the cockpit with a
touch screen display. Now you can program a custom mode or choose from the
3 pre-programmed modes for different driving conditions with this "Made In
The USA" ProCharger i-1 Supercharger.
ProCharger hits the industry by storm with the first programmable Boost i-1 Centrifugal Supercharger, with applications coming for

1999 Corvette C5 vs. 2013 392 Hemi Challenger
Hey all, this was at Irwindale dragstrip. Got to have a rematch against
that same SRT8 Challenger that properly kicked my ass in the Mustang. I beat him once, but then he
came back with an impressive victory. Hard to believe a car that heavy can
move that fast.
I actually have to wear a helmet now... yes... Ive earned it LOL

Corvette Sinkhole Adventure in a 1975 Stingray! - Roadkill Ep. 27
Chevy runs deep! This time Freiburger and Finnegan find out just how deep
as they visit the infamous sinkhole that opened up inside the National
Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky. To do it Roadkill style, the
guys find the worst Corvette they can buy, get it running after sitting for
six years, break auto parts, experience gators firsthand, and visit the
Corvette assembly plant. Finally, they try and convince the Corvette Museum
to let them leave their '75 Stingray behind......inside the sinkhole.
Roadkill appears every fourth Friday on the Motor Trend channel.
