The Ultimate Turbo Anti-lag System
A close up encounter with a new turbocharger anti-lag system that will soon change
the face of turbo drag racing forever.
A 224cid Buick V6 spooling a monster Borg Warner Airwerks S510/91mm turbo.
These tests were performed with the afterburner set at a low initial
setting. The full potential and limits of the afterburner feature are yet
to be explored.
This system is very capable of pushing the 3200 rpm stall speed (no Nitrous, zero Boost) of this torque converter to over 6200
rpm stall speed in 2 seconds, and in the same time generating over 220 kPa
manifold pressure. Impressive only if you fully understand the demanding
spooling requirements of the Airwerks S510 turbocharger.
Pro light launch tests with the newly enhanced Nitrous/Methanol ALS coming up next.
Update: Latest performance of the car, 2/12/11, 5.57 @ 126 mph in the 1/8
mile. 1.27 60'. The ALS activated for only 1.7 seconds, and shut down
before launching the car from the starting line.
In the comments section I have made entries that give detailed descriptions
of how this system works and basics on how to set it up.
This system is far from optimized. Hopefully others will play with this
system and make further impressive advances with it.

Update: There was a substantial leak discovered in a tee fitting in a MAP
signal line that, at the time of this video, fed both the fuel pressure
regulator and the Boost gauge.
Trying to judge the Boost level with
the fuel pressure and Boost gauges
in this video would be inaccurate. The Boost level that was recorded by the ECM
during these tests was in the range of 14 psi. The Boost gauge in this video (upper left gauge)
is showing only 6 or 7 psi Boost due
to the signal line leak.

RB25det with Gt35 turbo upgrade!! v.2
this 89 240sx is equiped with a rb25 series 1. Just installed a custom
fabbed stec manifold, turbo
uprgrade,nistune with the repined z32 ecu, lighting maf and ss downpipe to
muffler. Car runs pretty strong and the nistune works great!!

World's FIRST S13 SR20DET Launch Control system
S13 SR20DET Nissan Silvia Launch Limiter Control with adjustable hard/soft
cuts and speed enable thresholds. Custom programmed into a Nissan ECU with
a Nistune Type 3 board. This car ran a 12.1 @ 116 in FULL ROAD GOING TRIM -
NO SLICKS - without the system fitted & MAJOR wheelspin issues. Next time
out I'm confident it will run a high 11 second time.

On this episode, Carlos gets back behind the wheel of the craigslisted
240SX, so he can start deconstructing and then reconstructing the car using
all new, high quality parts.The process isn't as simple as it seems,
however, because the car first has to make a trip to K&N Dyno house in Riverside, and
then make it all the way back to the garage in El Segundo. After one busted
cylinder, a seized caliper, and a couple of other hiccups, will any of the
new modifications even be worth it? Stay tuned to find out.
