Bullitt Mustang Music Video Raw Footage HD
When was the last time the Black Charger was chased through the streets of
San Francisco by the Green Bullitt Mustang? I mean, really chased, in
real life, not on the movie screen or on a DVD. You would all have to say
it was in 1968 when the cult classic movie "Bullitt" was being filmed. Not
so! It happened on Tuesday, February 22, 2011, on a bright and sunny San
Francisco day. I kid you, not. We were there!
It all started a week before with a phone call to Ron Bramlett here at Mustangs Plus in Stockton,
California. The call came from a production company in Malibu, California.
The person on the other end of the phone said that they would like to use
Mustangs Plus' Bullitt
Tribute Mustang for
re-creating the famed Bullitt chase scene from the movie. Our first thought
was, "Yeah, right! What kind of deal are they trying to get us into?" But,
as we talked, it became clear that this was the real deal. The production
company had arranged with the city of San Francisco to shut the streets
down and to be able to film at many of the original locations for a music
video for a Grammy winning artist. Our interest was peaked, to say the

1967 Ford Mustang Fastback,
The Ford Mustang is an
automobile manufactured by the Ford Motor Company. It was initially based
on the second generation North American Ford Falcon, a compact car.
Introduced early on April 17, 1964, dubbed as a "1964½" model by Mustang fans, the 1965 Mustang was the automaker's most
successful launch since the Model A. The model is Ford's third oldest
nameplate in production and has undergone several transformations to its
current fifth generation.
The Mustang created the
"pony car" class of American automobiles—sports car-like coupes with long
hoods and short rear decks[—and gave rise to competitors such as GM's
Chevrolet Camaro, AMC's
Javelin, and Chrysler's revamped Plymouth Barracudas and Dodge Challengers.
It was a full restoration 1,700 miles ago and has been pampered ever since.
The body has been modified slightly but very tastefully and the interior
has been done the same way.

Mustang Taillight Kit with 3 Bulb Conversion Installation 1967-1968
After years on the road, the taillight area on many classic Mustangs can begin to corrode, which
can cause problems for the rest of the trunk area or cause the taillights
themselves to stop working. Plus, from the factory, these Mustangs are only equipped with a
single bulb taillight, which aren't very bright.
On our 1967 Mustang, we're
going to completely replace the taillights with this taillight kit, which
includes Taillight Bodies, Lenses, Bezels, Housing Seals, Lens Gaskets,
plus we're going to upgrade it with Scott Drake's Taillight 3-Bulb
Conversion. This will clean up some corrosion and significantly brighten up
the lights, making this 1967 Mustang much safer.
This conversion/upgrade also applies to 1968 Mustangs.

As Jaded began, I set out to build a first generation (1966) Mustang, incorporate styling cues
from modern Mustangs, and
blend them as seamlessly as today's late model muscle cars blend vintage
cues. Those subtle changes that draw you into the car for a closer look.
It was extremely difficult to maintain proportion and balance while
retaining the heritage.
JADED still had to look like a Mustang, not a Frankenstein
collection of parts slapped together. Once the design was solidified,
choosing components that fit the car and creating a cohesive well rounded
package was the next challenge. Starting with a drivetrain from the
legendary 2004 COBRA gave me a great head start on a bulletproof and
powerful foundation. The Schwartz G-Machine full frame chassis solved many
problems, including suspension, steering and most importantly, rigidity
that would support torque and power into the 600 HP range.
The feel of the 2004 interior gives the car a modern edge with seats that
are heavily bolstered, 6 way adjustable, and very comfortable. The body had
to be stunning, the color had to be right... and the timing of the Eastwood
Contour line of products was perfect for JADED.
I wanted to show that you don't have to break the bank to get great
With well-chosen products, you can get a world class appearance that holds
up to anything.
The proof is in the car - thousands of hours, pints of blood, many
sleepless nights and the passion that we all share in this hobby... the
drive to create something that is "our own" is manifested in JADED. I'm
very proud of this project, and humbled by the many friends and
manufacturers that contributed their energy and time. Now it's time to

1968 Ford Mustang Fastback #1457
There are lots of cars out there with decent paint jobs and gummed up
mysterious undercarriages, but not this Pony car. This 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback has been treated to
a photo documented rotisserie restoration completed three years ago. The
entire car was stripped down to the uni-body and media blasted to remove
any corrosion, years of grime, layers of paint and old undercoating. After
shooting the car in a fresh coat of etching primer, the body work was
completed and the car was refinished in a nice new coat of Ford Sonic Blue.
The color really pops in the sunlight and coats everywhere from the
undercarriage to the engine compartment. No unsightly undercoating to be
seen on this hot ride.
The professionally built motor produces a Dynoed 420 HP. It has a Comp
Cam, aluminum heads, Edelbrock intake, Quick Fuel carb, Pro Billet MSD
distributor, MSD coil. The motor is equipped with a serpentine belt system
running the AC compressor, power steering, alternator, water pump and fan.
The engine is tuned for pump gas and really rips around town while running
cool temperatures. The transmission is a Ford 4-speed and the rear end is a
Ford 9" with Detroit locker 3.55 gears. It willfully lays down parallel
tire strips at your command.
The interior features all new soft parts and nicely upgraded electric,
leather seats. They are super comfortable and ready for the long haul to
your favorite car show. The AC controls have been integrated into the
existing controls to keep things looking nice and stock on the dash. The
stereo has been upgraded with a modern unit and 4 nice sounding speakers
and amp and sub. There is also an IPOD connection for your listening
The Mustang is equipped
with a new 4-wheel disc brake system and a totally rebuilt suspension.
While the bodywork was in progress, all new suspension parts were sourced
and reassembled on the car once everything was ready to go back together.
The car is lowered 2 inches all the way around and the ride is nice and
This Mustang is a great all
around winner combining an excellent driving experience with very nice
cosmetics. For the collector that is looking for a new Pony car for his or
her corral, look no further than this awesome mild custom.
