Scrambler Slam: Ducati vs. Triumph
What’s a scrambler? In decades past, a scrambler was a street motorcycle stripped down and optimized for off-road use by way of swapping-in high-pipes, wider handlebars, semi-knobby tires, and differently styled fenders, seat and tank. Sometimes, it was an unmodified street model given a scrambler or street scrambler designation. In essence, it’s a cool name meant to convey agile sportability regardless of the bike’s dirt or street intentions. The Ducati Scrambler Icon and Triumph Scrambler both adhere to, and extoll the values of, their predecessors, but which Scrambler is the better one to scramble upon? That depends on which definition of scrambler you prefer. MCN Roadtest: Triumph Daytona 675
The original Triumph Daytona 675 was a cracking supersports bike when it was released in 2006. So Triumph had a big task on their hands in making the new model better. The new Daytona handled the Cartegena circuit very well, with the uprated chassis and the suspension making it an absolute joy to throw in to the twsties. The three cylinder engine pulls from as low as 3,000 rpm. Even if you miss a downshift the engine will pull you out of trouble. Read the full article in the December 10 edition of MCN, out now.

2013 Triumph Daytona 675 Full Test! - On Two Wheels Episode 33
On this episode of On Two Wheels, Bradley Adams tests the 2013 Triumph Daytona 675, a bike that has, until now, lived quietly in the shadows of its up-spec sibling, the Triumph Daytona 675R. A heavily updated three-cylinder engine, retooled frame and new-technology KYB fork could change the standard 675's fate for good. But have Triumph engineers gone the right direction with the standard Daytona 675? And more importantly, can the new 675 stand strongly beside its high-performing 675R kin? Tune in to find out. MV Agusta F3 vs Triumph Daytona 675R! Three-Cylinder Smackdown - On Two Wheels Episode 15
For years, any reference to a "675" meant you were talking about Triumph's Daytona 675. But now that the 675cc MV Agusta F3 is available, the Triumph isn't the only three-cylinder sportbike on the block. On this episode of On Two Wheels, we run the new F3 on the Dyno, down the dragstrip and around Buttonwillow Raceway to see how it performs, and then we bring in the Daytona 675R to see how it stacks up against it's Italian three-cylinder counterpart. On Two Wheels appears every other Wednesday on the new Motor Trend channel. http://www.youtube.com/motortrend Subscribe now to make sure you're in on all the action! http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=motortrend Facebook - http://facebook.com/motortrendmag & http://www.facebook.com/motorcyclistmag Twitter - http://twitter.com/motortrend Google+ - https://plus.google.com/101867967859016552744/posts Website - http://www.motortrend.com & http://www.motorcyclistonline.com/index.htm
