The 2006 Mercedes-Benz CL55 AMG aims to be one of the fastest, most sophisticated cars on the road today. With an artful blend of performance, technology and classic luxury it rarely fails to impress. It comes equipped with a dizzying array of high-tech features, classic styling, and impressive performance.
The CL55's hand-assembled, all-aluminum 5.4-liter V8 engine, with almost 500 horsepower at your control, allows for incredible acceleration power. The 5 speed shiftable automatic transmission allows for a great deal of range as well as comfort on the highway. It's an automatic that can be shifted manually for better gear control. Another great feature for the ride of this car is the adjustable suspension. Push button controls allow you to set the ride height for comfort and control.
Inside the Mercedes Benz CL55, luxury was the name of the game. Soft and supple leather lines the inside form dash, door, to the console and is accented by dark veneered wood. Features inside include leather AMG seats (heated/cooled in the front), a power-adjustable driver's seat with memory, power steering, a lighted entry system, power heated mirrors, a power sunroof, a trip computer, dual front and dual side airbags and Bose audio. It was also outfitted with a keyless start/go system so your keys never have to leave you pocket to get in and go. It's already aggressive stance is accentuated through 20" 5 star wheels on low profile Falken rubber. For the summer the cooled seats, power rear sunshade and tinted windows will keep you cool.
The CL55 showcases many of Mercedes' top technical features, including a special Active Body Control (ABC) stability system that helps reduce body roll to ensure a comfortable yet sporty ride. Other cutting-edge technologies for 2006 included bi-xenon high-intensity headlights, electrochromatic exterior and rear-view mirrors, rain-sensing windshield wipers, adaptive cruise control, two-zone automatic climate control, a self-leveling suspension, four-wheel anti-lock brakes, and traction control.
The 2006 CL55 has plenty of power, a smooth ride, responsive handling, and a comfortable interior. This car is an amazing blend of luxury and performance. This car is a blast to drive with the luxurious feel Mercedes Benz is know for.

I have upgraded from my BMW M6 to the new 2011 CL63 AMG. This one is a real "Monster". With the help of Lukas Domogalla from kold-fire.com this "Beast" has now approx. 660hp and 1050Nm of Torque. 0-200 km/h in 12sec. Vmax of approx. 345km/h. The conditions in that movie were not good at all. Outside temperature was 20°C and it was very humid. The track had no grip too.The night before near Hannover (Germany) I was up to 338 km/h but I had to break. 345 km/h are a realistic speed in my opinion. Enjoy the movie. A better one with a clean windshield and more speed is coming as soon as possible.
