This is vide of the all-new 2013 Lexus GS 350 F SPORT being driven southbound on PCH in Dana Point, CA. Listen to the roar of the 2GR-FSE D4-S 3.5L V6. This GS F Sport was switched into Sport+ mode. Listen to the more pronounced intake sounds (just like IS F) and watch the throttle blips upon downshifts. Don't forget to check out the heads up display which now shows more than just your speed and radio channels. It finally shows a tach.
Finally a real engaging Lexus GS!

You have to hand it to Lexus—it's never afraid to pit its models,
publicly, against the competition.
That's been true for years at various ride-and-drive events, where invitees
and bloggers are allowed to compare a featured Lexus model against other
vehicles, and it was recently true in Las Vegas, when Lexus invited
MotorTrend and Automobile Magazine to test the 2013 GS F Sport against a
BMW and Mercedes on a closed course.

2013 Lexus GS 350 F Sport vs Mercedes-Benz E350 vs BMW 535i race track review
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The new 2013 Lexus GS 350 F is taking direct aim
at both the new Mercedes-Benz E350 and the new BMW 535i. We recently had a
chance to drive all three cars on the race track in Las Vegas to compare
how well the newest and perhaps sexiest Lexus does against these two very
well regarded and long established German luxury performance sedans. Check
out this first drive review of the 2013 Lexus GS 350 F as we test all
three cars head to head.
2013 Lexus GS 350 0-130 mph speedometer

from standstill to 130 miles per hour on dry pavement? Jump behind the dash
and watch the gauges roll on the speedometer with a steady pull to a
blistering 130 miles per hour. Yes, 130 mph! Professional international

2013 Lexus GS350 F-Sport Start Up, Exhaust, and In Depth Review
Hello and welcome to Saabkyle04! YouTube's largest collection of automotive
variety! In today's video, we will take an up close and personal in depth
look at the all new 2013 Lexus GS350 F-Sport. Quite the impressive
redesign from the previous model packed with new styling, luxury and great
build quality. The F-sport package is Lexus' answer to the BMW M-sport
package and features altered body styling, a sporty interior and
performance upgrades. While the exterior is quite unique, the interior
takes the best from BMW's center stack design by incorporating a 12.3"
multimedia interface with a unique controller in the center console.
There's lots and lots of tech demos towards the middle for those gadget
minded people, took a while to explain. I highly recommend checking it out
in person, as there's many trim levels and options to suit your needs as I
showed towards the end of the video. I, personally, am looking forward to
seeing the rest of the lexus fleet adapt to this new generation styling.
During this presentation, we will take a 1st person look at what the
vehicle is all about beginning with the start up, performance data, fuel
economy, the occasional track data, and build quality. Also, I will teach
you how to use most of the interior and exterior features in a detailed
fashion, that before, you could only get from going to a dealership
yourself! Throughout the video, I will highlight key styling and unique
differences about the vehicle, any available options, and of course it
would not be an enthusiast car video without the good ole engine portion
with rev and Exhaust note with
interior and exterior perspectives. A thorough tour/review of this car
designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.
FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE CHANNEL SEE BELOW: In this channel you will
find in depth reviews/tour of automobiles from all over the world,
presented in a more detailed fashion than ever before. Basically, this
gives the viewer the chance to view the most detailed 1st person look you
can get without going to an actual dealer yourself! Every video is
consistent in the way I present so viewers know what to expect in my
presentations. I treat every vehicle with the same respect whether a 1960
Chevrolet Impala SS or the 2012 Lamborghini Aventador. I film all types of
vehicles from past, present, and future while broadening the knowledge of
the automotive enthusiast. You will see everything from vintage, brand new,
exotic, mainstream, old, etc. I am very proud of this channel and have
built it up from amateur videos years ago to what you see today. I wanted
to share my love for the automotive world with the rest of the world. Be
sure to explore the massive video variety, have fun and enjoy The Driver's
Seat of YouTube!

2015 Lexus NX 200t and NX 300h Detailed Review and Road Test

While Land Rover arguably invented the concept of a luxury SUV with their
first Range Rover, the 1998 Lexus RX is the vehicle that's had the single
biggest impact on the luxury industry. Initially derided by the press as a
lifted Camry with delusions of grandeur, calling the RX a run away sales
success would be an understatement. Lexus' original crossover now accounts
for over a third of the brand's total volume in America and holds the crown
as the best selling luxury vehicle on our shores. Trouble is, the RX has
grown over time and is now a half-step too big for European tastes. In the
hopes of dominating a third of Lexus brand sales in Europe, Lexus engineers
went back to the drawing board and created s little brother for the RX: the
2015 Lexus NX.
The right-sized Lexus crossover is, as you'd expect, almost exactly the
same size as the Audi Q5, Volvo XC60, BMW X3 and Acura RDX. That puts the
NX slightly ahead of the Mercedes GLK, four inches ahead of the 2015
Lincoln MKC and a full foot longer than the Range Rover Evoque. With 6.9
inches of ground clearance the NX should be just as dirt-road capable as
the average luxury soft-roader and interestingly Lexus bothers to publish
approach and departure angles. In case you're now wondering, approach is
28.7 degrees in 200t and 300h trim and 16.8 deg in the F-Sport because of
the flatter front end. Departure remains 24 degrees on all models.
Before you ask, the NX isn't a shrunken RX and it isn't a luxury RAV-4
either. Lexus claims that 90% of the parts are unique to the NX and those
that are shared are primarily related to the optional hybrid system. Thanks
to the clean sheet design, the NX is the first Lexus that looks comfortable
in the new corporate uniform. While other Lexus models (namely the LS) wear
the "spindle" grille surprisingly well, other aspects of the new design
language haven't translated well to the luxury brand's utility vehicles.
The "Nike swoosh" LED daytime running lamp modules that look oddly
out-of-place on the IS sedan actually work on the NX and I found myself
wondering why. I think the answer can be found in the headlamp module which
is much sleeker than in other Lexus models thanks to standard LED low
beams. Overall the combination allows for a more balanced front end.
From tip to tail there's no doubt that the NX's design won't be for
everyone, but I find that refreshing for a brand long known for
design-restraint. I wouldn't exactly call it the looks ground breaking or
polarizing, but this is as close as Lexus has even been. Although Lexus is
making an NX F-Sport Hybrid, Lexus has chosen to not offer the aggressive
grille and fuel-sipping engine combo in America.Under the hood beats the
first turbo engine Lexus has sold in
America: an all-new 2.0L direct-injection turbocharged four-cylinder engine. While the
engineers spent most of their time telling members of the press how
fantastic their turbo design is, I was
more intrigued that this seems to be the first non-hybrid drivetrain that
can switch between an Otto and an Atkinson cycle. (Mazda tells me they do
not consider the SkyAcitv design an Atkinson cycle.) The technology behind
this is a new variable valve timing system that can adjust the intake and
Exhaust cam timing independently
allowing for a late intake valve closure when efficiency rather than torque
is required. Also on the trivia list is an air-to-water Intercooler instead of a more typical
air-to-air unit. The result is 235 horsepower from 4,800-5,600
RPM and 258 lb-ft from 1,650-4,000 RPM.
Rather than borrowing the 8-speed automatic used in the RX350 F-Sport (and
the XC60), Lexus chose to refresh an existing 6-speed auto and tweak it for
the turbo engine's low-end torque. The
engineer I spoke with claimed that the rationale behind the missing gears
was that "an 8-speed automatic isn't as much fun with paddle shifters."
Make of that what you will.
Lexus GS 250 2012 - acceleration 0-... not enough km/h
New Lexus GS is extremely good car in the terms of quality, luxury and
refinement. Its basic 2,5 liter V6 engine is not a problem at all, but most
of its dynamics and comfort is spoiled by extremely "long" gears of its
automatic transmission. Watch how it fails to reach its top speed for many
kilometers and how the car is even slowing down when you try to hold higher
speed on 6th gear. And it is not only question of dynamics, these gears
spoil the comfort either - the transmission shifts down to 3rd gear when
you are just cruising around 90 km/h on 6th gear. What an absurd fail for
such good car...
