Brabus's primary focus is to achieve maximum engine performance through the increase of both horsepower and torque. Customers can either buy cars straight from Brabus or send in their Mercedes to be customized and/or overhauled. If a customer orders a car from Brabus, Brabus buys the particular car from Mercedes and then modifies it in-house according to the customer's requests. Brabus is known for providing very expensive tuning and custom solutions, making an "if you have to ask the price, you can't afford it" scenario.
Brabus offers cosmetic changes such as low profile spoilers, bodykits, carbon fiber splitters, and multi-piece alloy wheels. More serious upgrades include racing LSDs, open racing Exhaust systems, twelve-piston disc brakes, and engine remapping. However, most customers pay for complete engine overhauls for which Brabus has become famous. The company typically orders crate engines from AMG and completely redesigns them.
Brabus engines range from small 200 horsepower (150 kW) K4 blocks for SLK roadsters and CLK-Class to the goliath 800 horsepower (600 kW) twin-turbo blocks for the S-Class. The company also provides improvements to the interior from custom upholstery, gauges, shiftknobs, pedals, and trim to various electronics such as wider LCD screens for the Maybach.

The Mercedes-Benz G-Class or G-Wagen (as it was called from 1979 to 1994), short for Geländewagen (or cross-country vehicle), is a four-wheel drive vehicle / sport utility vehicle (SUV) produced by Steyr-Puch (now Magna Steyr) in Austria for German automaker Mercedes-Benz. The G-wagen is characterized by its boxy styling and body-on-frame construction. It uses three fully-locking differentials, one of the few vehicles to have such a feature.
In June 2012, the G-Class received some minor modifications to the specification and engine range. The significant changes outside are that the updated G-Class gets LED running lights; second, there are turn indicators in its side mirrors; and third, the AMG gets a new bumper and grille. The majority of the G-Class's upgrades reside under its hood and behind its doors: a new interior, more modern amenities. Interior changes include a re-sculpted dashboard and centre console, with relocated COMAND screen, and a new colour multifunction screen to the gauge cluster. The latest mbrace2 telematics system also is on board and now come standard with Distronic adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, and updated Parktronic backup sensors and rearview camera, together with a revised the stability control to enable trailer stabilizing functionality.

2011 Brabus SV12 R Biturbo 800
Brabus SV12 R Biturbo 800: 800 hp (788 bhp) / 588 kW and a peak torque of 1,420 Nm (1,047 lb-ft) transform the Mercedes-Benz S 600 in latest Brabus specification into the world's most powerful luxury sedan. But that's not all: With an electronically limited top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph) the exclusive four-seater also wins the 'Blue Ribbon' as the world's fastest luxury liner. Brabus rounds out the new high-performance standard with a sporty yet elegant designer suit, custom-tailored wheels with diameters of up to 21 inches, a high-performance brake system and customer-specific interior upgrades including a state-of-the-art "iBusiness" multimedia system with Apple components.
Twelve-cylinder high-capacity engines in the S-Class look back on almost two decades of tradition at Brabus. Powered by the SV12 R Biturbo 800 engine originally developed for the Brabus E V12 "one of ten" the automotive luxury class now attains a new level of performance.
Displacement of the V12 engine that normally powers the latest Mercedes 600 models is increased from 5.5 to 6.3 liters (336 to 385 cu. in.) The displacement increase is the product of a special crankshaft with longer stroke, precision-balanced piston rods, larger-diameter pistons and corresponding larger cylinder bore. The inner workings of the Brabus engine are modified further by high-performance camshafts and flow-optimized cylinder heads.

German tuners Brabus released their version of the Mercedes-Benz GL-Class last month at the Dubai Motor Show. The Brabus GL 63 Biturbo has been fitted with the Mercedes eight cylinder engine from the ML 63 AMG, tuned to deliver 650 horsepower and up to 850 Nm of torque.
If that number sounds familiar for Brabus, it is because the company used the same engine and tuning package on their ML 63 Biturbo. That SUV debuted in Geneva a year ago with a top speed of 310 km/h (192.6 mph).
The GL 63 is a bit slower, with a top speed of 300 km/h (186.4 mph), and a 0-100 km/h sprint of 4.7 seconds. The engine is mated to a modified version of the Speedshift 7G-Tronic automatic transmission and permanent four-wheel drive.
It includes a customized, and more responsive twin turbo system, large water-to-air Intercooler, with other upgrades to the intake and Exhaust, brakes, suspension, and tires. The vehicle now rides on forged 23-inch wheels. 21- and 22-inch wheels are also offered.
Brabus is also making the SUV available with a Widestar package, including 3-centimeter wide fender flares, rocker panels, a new front apron, and larger air inlets. LED daytime running lights, underfloor lighting, and four extra headlamps have also been installed. Roof spoiler, rear apron, and rear diffuser have all been installed, as well as a quad-pipe Exhaust.
Interior upgrades include Mastik leather, Alcantara, and a choice of wood or carbon-fiber trim. A full pallette of color options is offered for each. LCD screens are integrated into the seats for the rear passengers, who have access to a DVD player.
The Brabus GL 63 Biturbo is now available for order, starting at €368,000.
