3" Magnaflow Exhaust. I was bored and decided to see what it sounds like from behind. Mods: Jak Stoll Performance Stage 2 fuel chip Swedish Dynamics Stage 3 APC 34lb. injectors 18"x12"x3" bar and plate custom Intercooler K&N cone filter ClutchNet Stage 3 clutch kit (junk) 3" Magnaflow race cat. and Exhaust (straight-thru muffler) Intrax springs Bilstein shocks EBC brakepads as of Christmas 2008 its gone through 2 ClutchNet clutches, and 2 transmissions. the car is all torn apart and has a new transmission and Sachs clutch waiting to go in.... probably in the springtime when all the snow melts. To do: 3" downpipe (I know, I know) turbo upgrade (T3/60, T3/Super60, T3/T4 hybrid, Holset HX35 perhaps..)
Will it Run? Episode 14: 1978 Saab 99 Part 1 of 3
Hi! This time we're going to have a go at getting this '78 Saab running! It's been sitting around for over 15 years... I bought it last year, and last month I decided that I would try to get it operational and maybe even plate it and use it for a daily driver. Well, it needs a lot of work... the fuel pump, lines, and accumulator are all shot, the heater is leaky and smells terrible, the wiring harness is burned up, and the roof and deck lid are peeling and rusty. Also, someone took a lot of the car apart years ago and never put it back together! The Exhaust is leaking badly, and the wheels and tires are mismatched. Well, the budget is still zero, so we'd better get busy!
