Hartmut Feyhl left AMG after 15 years to start his own tuning company, RennTech, which is now one of the most respected AMG tuners in the world. His products range from simple software upgrades to full racing builds based on AMG street cars. We take his new, 700 horsepower CLS63 for a spin and establish a new benchmark for luxury sedans: must be able to do burnouts while moving at highway speeds.

This is a raw video of my RENNtech C63. Once in a while I take her out for a spirited drive (respecting other drivers and pedestrians of course) to a very low traffic road. Even though the redesigned C63 (2014?) is said to come with more HP (twin turbo, 528HP, unofficially) from the factory, the sound of the naturally aspired 6.2L hand made AMG engine is just insane. In my humble opinion, the pure, raw muscle of this car will turn it into a classic one day. Only time will tell. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
