ITEM DESCRIPTION:
Up for auction is a Rotary Resurrection REBUILT 89-91 rx7 NON TURBO 6 port engine longblock assembly w/ accessories. The price of this engine is higher than my normal internet price by $250 to cover ebay seller fees.

Since 2001, Rotary Resurrection has been the best priced rotary rebuild option in North America while still providing quality and honest work. I founded my work based on the opinion that a solid engine replacement option should not cost more than the value of your whole car. My pricing has helped keep many RX\'s away from the scrapyard and on the road being enjoyed by their owners over the years, which is my main goal.

This engine was built from a core engine of 153k mileage that came to me in an 89 convertible parts car, and the major components are B condition used parts with average wear.

This engine is a direct fit for all 89-91 non turbo rx7 models. It can also be used in 86-88 non turbo models or custom swapped into other cars/projects with some modifications.

This engine is being SOLD OUTRIGHT WITH NO CORE RETURN REQUIRED. However, if you have a core (or more than one) or core components that you wish to trade in for some credit off of the price, I will gladly do so. However in order to determine how much credit I can give you I would need to see the cores or parts I am buying first, so you would either need to ship or deliver the parts to me first. You could expect $300-600 on average. IF you have any FC parts cars or cheap project cars I could also consider taking that in partial trade.

When considering the price of this engine, bear in mind that you are basically paying the cost of each component used in the build (rotors, housings, irons, etc.), plus all the necessary seals/springs/etc., plus cleaning/inspection/assembly labor for the builder. Each major component used in this build carries a value of $150-250, so that is approx $1200-1400 in components alone. The complete seal set used in this build retails for approx $700. Most builders charge $700-1000 for cleaning/inspection/assembly. You also have 3 or 400 dollars worth of accessories such as intake manifolds, alternator, oil pan, water pump housing, OMP, wiring, injectors etc. The fuel injectors have been sent to RC Engineering for cleaning and flow testing as well as new pintle caps/orings/grommets and a flow sheet is included. Most gaskets were replaced new on the intake, water pump etc. during assembly. Includes wiring harness, ECU/computer, pressure/map sensor, airflow meter, etc.

The engine was built with the following seals etc.:

-oem mazda 3 piece 2mm apex seals

-oem mazda corner seals

-oem rx8 corner springs

-atkins side seals (cut to fit hand clearanced)

-atkins side springs

-atkins rotary viton oil control o-rings

-atkins rotary thermal pellet

-oem front and rear main oil seal

-oem coolant seal set

-oem main bearings

-oem rotor bearings

Endplay was checked twice during assembly. The block coolant passages were pressurized to 20psi for half an hour to be certain that the coolant seals are correct. This engine is accompanied by a written 1 year unlimited mileage warranty against builder assembly error. The buyer will also receive a written invoice as well as all of the pictures of the build.

SHIPPING INFORMATION:
Local pickup in east TN is encouraged. Shipping for engines must be done via truck freight (pallet). Shipping to a BUSINESS LOCATION WITH LOADING DOCK and/or FORKLIFT in the 48 United States will be done via R&L Carriers (gorlc dot com) unless the buyer has a transport method that they have already investigated/arranged. Since the freight rates vary widely for buyers in various areas of the US, I cannot give a shipping cost until I know the buyer\'s location. In general, buyers in the eastern half of the US could expect to pay around $250 and buyers in the western US could expect to pay $300-500. Buyers requiring residential delivery or liftgate service MAY HAVE TO PAY ADDITIONAL COSTS.

AK/HI/PR/GU & INTERNATIONAL BUYERS READ ABOUT SHIPPING HERE:

I have no experience shipping an engine via freightoutside of the United States or overseas. Honestly I find it unlikely that a buyer from an island state, South America or Europe would be willing to pay the high shipping
costs, and in fact I have never in 12 years had a buyer outside of North America follow through on such a deal.

Please take no offense, but for this reason I do not wish to spend any time investigating the matter of overseas shipping. You would need to investigate that aspect yourself and obtain your
own shipping quote using the following information. IF you find a method or carrier with a reasonable cost that is practical for me to access, then I will gladly sell to you. If you are not serious enough to investigate shipping methods on your own time, then you are not serious enough to buy an engine from me anyway.

The origin point is Morristown, Tn, 37814, USA. I can build a crate for the engine or put it onto a pallet, whichever the shipping carrier prefers. The engine assembly weighs approx 350lb and will be put on a standard 48\" x 40\" pallet unless otherwise requested.
