Volvo 240 Remote Trunk Popper Electric Trunk Lock Motor Kit Turbo ipd 242 244 GL This is a RARE and super cool Volvo 240 accessory, the trunk popper. The switch mounts in the glove box on that little indented space in the upper left hand corner.
This unit is tested and is working perfectly.
Comes with the complete wiring harness, the switch for the glove box, the motor, linkage and plastic cover plate. This is what a COMPLETE kit looks like. Plug and play wire harness takes the guess work out of trying to figure the circuit out on your own.
Fits 79-85 sedans and coupes. Not earlier, not later and no wagons... these years have no outside latch on them and require the key to open from them from the outside... unless you have this trunk popper kit! Note: 79-80 have the correct trunk lock style but have the earlier dash/glove box, so these cars won\'t have the indented spot in the glove box. You will have to improvise the switch location.
Everything is in excellent used condition, clean and ready to go. This is my last kit.See pics for details.
